Looking good Fredrick

So here's a photo of a set of shins I'm building, forget the sniper knee it's for a TD. Though I have no idea if Anovos has fixed their numbering system, note the contour of the inner shin halves vs the outside. The inside has a more defined curve compared to the outer. I've also included a canon reference photo. Though the Anovos armor shape is considerably softer then the canon you can still the shape I'm referring to. Finally you can also see the inner halves tend to be longer than the outer on the Anovos.

Follow the link. A couple frames down the hot water bath is illustrated. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29684-anh-stunt-ata-re-build-part-2/

I hot water bathed my ATA shins for the same reason. I wanted the two halves to come together naturally. I have to say it was really tough to do without adversely effecting other areas of the shin. End result was shins that closed on their own but the left shin is now really tight around my ankle. Pick your battles, carefully. BTW beautiful work on those hand plates

I bet. If you take a close look at some of my build photos you'll see SW pajamas and slippers. Good times
-
Nice armor building slippers lol

And that's why this armor bothers me so. Looking at the photo below (properly installed) logically the armor should feel natural but I'm guessing it doesn't. One thing is for certain the lines of the armor follow the contour of your leg muscle. Once you throw on some boots you'll feel right as rain.

Awesome!

Yes that is correct https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/?page=17&tab=comments#comment-466593

Nice work -
Hey David welcome back and thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Very nice work your build trooper Andrew and I would like to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. Congratulations and welcome to Centurion Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Centurion is the ultimate level of accuracy and appearance. In this section we mention areas that could still use some TLC. As mentioned during your EIB application the following area still needs adjusting to further enhance the overall appearance of your armor. There are a couple areas mentioned during your EIB application that still need resolve or have now appeared with your Centurion photos. None will hold you back from Centurion however, these areas should be addressed to enhance the overall look of your armor. Starting with your back plate. We mentioned during your EIB approval the back plate should not overlap the kidney. Though yous isn't that bad we highly suggest shortening the connecting straps. Shorten Reference photo Next up Ab to kidney gap right side, posterior out of place and lower Ab button heavily covered by waist belt. None of these issues were visible during your EIB application so were letting you know here that the gaps or coverage should to be very minimal. Again tightening the connecting straps or repositioning sections should resolve the issue. Reference photos That's it, time to head out and make the Empire and your garrison proud as the 501st newest Centurion

If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have nothing to add here. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern it will be discussed here. At this time there's nothing we see that should hold you back from an easy L3 application if you so choose to apply for, and we suspect you will -
Hi Yiqyio thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Andrew and I are happy to say your armor displays all necessary element to qualify you for the EI badge, Congratulations. Beautiful job on your build, you look awesome Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If there were anything we would suggest it may be to remove some of the upper eye socket material, there seems to be a considerable amount. Here's a reference photo Another area would be to watch you back plate to kidney plate gap. There should be minimal gap here. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern it will be discussed here. At this time there's nothing we see that should hold you back from an easy L3 application if you so choose to apply for. Hope to see you there Now it's time for you to catch a transport to the Death Start where you'll begin your service to the Empire

Thigh looks good as long as there roughly 10mm at the thinnest return edge area. 2nd photo, cutting it a little close. You might want to consider reinforcing the inside with left over cover strip material. Similar to this.
