  1. Yes the cover strips can be thinner. Matching the armor at the raised edge is a guideline.
  2. The CRL states it is "optional" however, for those that have it already or it's molded into their armor but not cut out, this is a canon element, why not have it. Especially for those building their armor to accuracy specs.
  3. Remove as much return edge as you need. !/8" remaining is a nice safe number.
  4. Rocking and rollin, looking great so far
  5. Looking good Daniel, don't fret over the fitment.
  6. or this photo luc
  7. As for the belt I recommend trimming the edges down to canon specs, as you mentioned Martjin. Reference photo
  8. Or use non corrosive snaps like Fasnap or DOT, marine grade and non corrosive even with E6000 Edit, actually not sure if these manufactures make the poppers, I take that back sorry
  9. I agree with David
  10. Floor heater is good also, the reason I mention spot light is not only do they create heat they help eliminate shadowing, but yea.
  11. Make a plastic tarp paint booth placing a small fan at one end for ventilation (leave off for now). Throw in some spot lights for 30+ minutes to warm up the air, well unless you like runs , Lightly water the ground, turn your fan on low and paint. Good luck
  12. Photos, photos, photos lol
  13. Welcome Alex. To be honest we're trying to phase out the antenna but if it'a out of curiosity I went with a low profile car antenna that I don;t believe it's even sold anymore. Typical for aftermarket products lol
  14. Welcome Nick, looking forward to your build.
  15. Looking good Kyle. I have nothing against magnets but if someone was to bump either the chest or TD would it knock them loose?
  16. If you take a look at the display photos that would be a yes. Here a link to the FOTK gallery.
