1. Awwwwweeee yeah! Nice and shiney! How many more days before BBB arrives?
2. I gave my caps a hot water bath and then bashed them on the pipe using a flat surface on the flip side I do know some people who cut the pipe down and then glued the caps on. Any method will work as long as the outside measurement is 7.5 inches (roughly). Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
3. I didn't have any issues with the Tandy line 24 snaps on the elastic strapping but I doubled up the ends before I put it on. I folded over the end and essentially doubling the thickness instead of just using the one layer? Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
4. Awe yeah awe yeah! Spoken like a true gentleman! Proud to have you as a friend and brother in white plastic!

Cheers!!
5. I should add that I did buy the cheapest hardhat Home Depot had so maybe that's half the problem. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
6. Hard hat liner is cool. I have one in, the only issue is the liner is oval and since you have to "screw" the helmet on it starts off weird. Trying to find the happy medium between tight enough to not have any wobble but loose enough to get on with little effort. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
7. Great job! I got a couple of things to finish up but once I'm done this will be my next project! Stealing all of your ideas of course! [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
8. Awe man, so sorry brother. Thoughts and prayers for your sister during this time.
9. YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!! At this moment, I don't know who is more excited, me or you!!! You totally rocked it! Congratulations brother, so well deserved! You so freakin deserve it!! Yes!!!. Your hard work, determination and your ability to continue to push on left me inspired this entire time. Congrats again!!! Man, don't be a stranger, remember you have a ton of experience to share with the up and coming troopers. We need to share our stories, Troopers helping Troopers!!
10. Wow dude, great job! It all came together! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
11. Ugh I know, I still have a couple of snaps that I know I will have to replace at some point. There is a small tutorial video on the tandy website (or was it youtube) that gives you some pointers on how to do it. I also believe Tony (Ukswrath) has a video on Youtube showing the process as well. Are you doing ABS or Nylon web strapping?
12. You're welcome. E6000 is the way to go, I had to redo one of my shins and with some effort, the cover strip came off with no issues. Also, just a reminder, with the shoulder bells you can leave some return edge if it will help you.
13. It doesn't look to far off. You will definitely need to take some off the kidney section. It is my understanding that if you are going to adjust size, you do so off the kidney leaving the AB alone. If you plan on going centurion then you'll have to redo the kidney notches. For basic and EIB the notch is not required on the kidney. Thank goodness for our better halves. My wife chuckled a few times during the process. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
14. I would leave the outside edge correct and trim the inside edge to fit but you are gonna wanna make sure the size of your biceps are as close as possible in diameter to your forearms. So, if you need to add foam to the forearms to keep the look then I would do so. So in short, size your biceps and then see where you need to go with your forearms if any of this makes sense. 15. I would hold off on trimming any length until everything is glued in place. You can always trim more off later to ease movement.

Also, with AP, it's my understanding that we basically got two left side arms. So they won't really be mirror images to each other.
16. How goes it brother? Waiting on seeing that TK number!
17. Second dibs! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
18. I hate to be that guy... but sorry bro, you only have one liver so I'm not sure how much time you have left. If you would be so kind as to pack up all of your star wars belongings and ship them off to me I will see they find a proper home. [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
19. You're next bro! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk

23. The switch is a push on push off switch I bought at Radio Shack out of their switch section. It's a common one, you shouldn't have a problem finding it. Unfortunately I don't have the wrapper for the switch anymore but I could swing by and get the model number for you if you'd like. There is literally one next door to where I work. I wish I can take credit for the mount. I saw the mount somewhere on this board and though it was an easy way to mount it. I can actually extend my chin and turn the fans on or off. But it is literally a scrap piece of ABS I had laying around after I finished my kit. I started by measuring post to post, then I added an extra half inch or so on each side to give the washers enough surface to grab. Once I cut the correct size, I centered and drilled the post holes and then centered and drilled the switch hole to the entire piece. I then just rounded the edges and wired it up. When you are ready to go, let me know, i can help you out if you'd like.
24. Hello, not sure about Anovos but APs helmet is huge compared to the ATA helmet I had before. Martin, I have a really big head and it fits with room for fans.
25. Whoop Whoop!!! Look what happened today!! Got a lot of friends who are there or almost there! Let's get going!
