1. Another reason to push your approval along...

http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/36439-coming-soon-fisd-racing-shirt-run/
2. All is looking awesome, and the Velcro does wonders for holding shins together... Awesome job my friend!
3. Lots of identity items to get when you join... Racing shirts with your TK ID, name rages with TK ID, license plate holders... Well, you get the idea lol
4. Definitely something brand new and never before seen in the world of white armour. Who knows, if you perfect it, some may actually use the idea! Congrats for your pioneering effort!
5. Velcro would probably go along inner guide strip then... And the part that covers the strip. Easy enough fix. I think I understand what you mean, and it shouldn't cause too much of a headache to implement. Velcro isn't screen accurate, but it holds better than what they used on screen.
6. Velcro can't be seen... No offence taken, it's just a tride and true application of what you're trying to do is all. Only you know the Velcro is there, and it doesn't even make that ripping noise as you walk around. Try it out, if you don't like it, take the Velcro off, it does come off fairly easily without any damage to shins or plastic.
7. Looks like all is going fairly smoothly now... Hope those shin guard pictures helped.. Not sure if they had...
8. This is the part where I guess I should be scared lmao
9. Pictures are inbound lol I use Velcro, and look! It even holds over black jeans lol
10. I'll send pictures to you mate.. Although it'll be over jeans lol
11. For trooping I think it's up to you.. But as per the CRL, there weren't any HWTs in ESB, so that's probably the reason it's left out of centurion... In ANH, the only HWT I can recall is Han carrying the 19... And the TDs... That's from memory though, which is usually off lol Myself, I prefer the 11... But would like a 19 for the option to switch over to, along with the comlink and grappling hook set up, for Heroes... Just options, nothing mandatory...
12. Personally, I'd use Velcro to hold shins together, but that's just me. It does the job well, and have a lot of it on hand lol. Easy to replace if things go awry too.
13. Keep it simple for now, don't jump ahead... Get it done, see how things go, and take it from there... Lots of options you can add at a later time, don't just jump into things.
14. Try it on, wear it for a few hours, see how it goes... Only way real way to tell how it works is with the rest of the armour, and in the field... For example, how close to the shoulders it sits, and such... You can get a fairly accurate feel for it without armour, but may need minor tweaking when all is together.
15. All looks well... Not sure why the 19 is mandatory and the 11 isn't... Would have thought it was the other way around... But then again, you are going Hvy Weapons trooper so....
16. On ever seen zippers in shins before.. Hope they're not too much trouble for you in the field. Re forearms, Nice work there. Accessibility is always best I've found.
17. Awesome and welcome aboard Trooper! Many exciting times are ahead!
18. I'm not a fan of black inside the interior but all looks good so far. Hope you can see out of the lens material. Good job with the oven tip, and glad it went well for you. Those look like some pretty sturdy lenses too.
19. Awesome! As to pads hard hat liner... It's personal preference... Either works fine, or you may find something else for padding, like a towel taped into the top of the bucket lol.... Who knows... Looking forward to your very own TK ID, hope all goes well!
20. All is looking awesome Mesh! Looking forward to more progress.
21. This was a few years back...

http://youtu.be/cQelOGlb-u8

Had a better turn out couple years later, and last year. TK numbers keep growing lol

Lookup FanExpo 2015 Stormtrooper for most recent video
22. Don't forget us for Labour Day weekend. FanExpo in Toronto, 4 day event, and it's a big one. Last year we had a TK march of 20+ Stormtroopers, we're hoping it'll be bigger this year. Mark your calendar for,it, it's an awesome event to join in on. Can look it up, they've already started announcing Guests for it.
23. Best bet is to walk into a place where you can get lens material from on hand, instead of ordering through catalogue, as you can try before you buy sort of deal. Welding goggles are a good place to start... Think you can find a pair at Crappy Tire. Not the MIG type welding ogles, but the acetylene torch style... They're not so dark unlike the MIG welding ones.

You may have to adjust your lens holders though....
24. Oven at 150 F would work then... Put them it in for a minute, watching with the light on through the glass... Take them out with gloves on, and play with them until they fit. If they need more time to heat, leave in for another minute... Make sure you wear gloves though.
25. Awesome! Have a great time! Sounds like a great experience all around for you.
