1. Looking good so far, in my eyes... Keep going lol
2. Awesome job, and congrats on the Troop event! As I'd mentioned, I keep my blaster holstered 95% of the time lol now you know why. When marching/walking, I keep one hand holding the grip while its in holster, this way it doesn't flap about, and I know where it is. Awesome read, and welcome to the glory of the 501st! - Lord Vader is in the next room? Hurry, let's clean this up...
3. I'm trying to do the same... Need extra set of hands and eyes... Can't see back plate position
4. All is looking good... Not sure what you're having problems with re shoulders... Placing of shoulder bells? You may need another set of hands and eyes...
5.
Maybe a different style of Velcro Captain? Or maybe due to overlap construction. That industrial Velcro is thick stuff.

I use industrial strength Velcro... No issues... *shrug*
6.

Did you use a full 1 inch strip of Velcro on the back or did you cut in down the middle. I am having a hard time visualizing how the Velcro is supposed to go on.

Not sure how Mesh did it, but when I use Velcro on my calves, 1" strip down length of calf. When the calves close they overlap so the Velcro closes it and does hold. I use sponges inside calves, one for either side, close to top (2" down) to hold calf in place.
7. As for thigh strapping, I'd go with a garter system, takes the weight off the shoulders.
8. Have you tried to fit this onto you yet? Are you sure you are the same length as all pieces put together? You may need a bit more strapping between plates, having loose strapping is ok as the back and kidney will fall into place, and strapping will bend...
9. Summer one may be way to hot in the summer too lol My sniper plate is riveted if this helps any...
10. Go for basic approval first, the rest falls into place down the road.
11. Nice work, not fond of the mesh, but it's your bucket... Remember, filling up bucket, many cutting air space means less air flow, and more fan requirement.
12. When you get home, measure it up... See how it looks against the belt, it may not looks as bad as you thought.
13. Got a belt handy to measure them up against?
14. The TD is on an angle and it should be square... Lol
15. Awesome! Congrats on getting all together! Now for getting approval.
16. It's not a battle wound when making your armour, only after armour is finished and you're in battle lol
17. As to thighs don't trim that ledge off... All is looking well, and doing an awesome job, but I fear for your safety and hope there'll be a live trooper in the armour when done. Be safe!
