Brattie's AP Build and Journey to The 501st

No luck on costumes here... I'll keep looking, but it's doubtful... Kids were also younger at the time we had the costumes that blacked out the faces. You may need to purchase a full costume and take the face part out. -

I'll do some digging around here too... May have some old Halloween costumes with it... -

At some point you may wish to replace the black covering with that invisible mesh that Halloween costumes have inside hoods to keep face black... You can see out, but no one can see your face... Something to experiment with in future? Just an idea... -

No tips for TKs are a little different,.. Sit down very carefully, best not to do so... Need a break, remove top armour to sit. Watch out for stairs, they are your enemy.... Not sure how eye sight is with Jawa... Keep an eye out for little people, one hand on blaster at all times, even while holstered, check your TD every so often... These things can be removed without notice... So umm... Things are a little different with TKs... -
Looking good, hope that sniper plate didn't give too much trouble.

Handlers are awesome! Always appreciate your fellow handler, especially in costumes where you can't sit or bend down too easily, and visibility issues. -

It's something along the lines of the Empire salted or seeded the earth with a chemical that only they could get rid of, but used just enough each time, so the Noghri would remain in servitude. -

It's sort of been done in the Thrawn Trilogy... Touched on that history with the Noghri home world and Vader... -

After seeing what they did in EP VII I'm hoping they don't construct another once... I mean come now, three times it got destroyed... Three times to not get it right, and still they don't learn... Bring in the new weapon of destruction lol -

Welcome aboard again, and thankfully with all digits attached, no need for extra mesh, you have just enough to get by lol -

Are there lyrics to after the Deathstar? It was destroyed and many of us are without jobs now lol. -
I too am sorry about the bad news, thoughts are with you and yours ... Keep well all of you.
-
And TK Mesh joins the rest of us bucket heads lol.

Welcome aboard!
-
You'll eventually need to take pictures in front of a dark background... But for submission I think they look great!

Trust me, reactions are a lot more positive when you're part of a Star Wars crowd, rather than being on your own... I've done a number of 501st on my own as well, it tough at times, but a lot of the time it's just awesome! More good than bad, always! -

There are always going to be comments, like another tall Jawa, even for us TKs ... Even clean TKs hear, these aren't the droids you're looking for line way too often. Or the, aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?

Don't let it discourage you. At a Troop, you won't get as much ridicule (if any) as you would by yourself, as there will be other costumes to match your own. You'll be part of a theme, and fit right in. Trooping on your own, at a non event is a bit tougher than trooping at an event. Don't let it get you down, and have fun. Don't let one bad apple spoil your time out there. For every one rotten person, there are multitudes of others who enjoy and have a good comment. -

I wouldn't worry too much about the first troop... Get out there, meet people, and try to get into the character you're portraying... You've already done two out of three, without the costume, so in costume shouldn't be too difficult. Above all, have fun doing it! -
All is looking well, and hey... The Legion still exists lol no worries on timing.

Center of belt velcroed to ab is what I've done as well... Helps a lot, I've found. Been thinking of adding Velcro to sides as well, but got a few other things I wish to do first... Still working on courage to trim new ears (thnx Pyrates!), as they look like they'll fit the old bucket.
-
I thought there was an update, and you made me look for .... THIS?!? Lol Cheers!
-
Never too far, just few and far between sometimes... It happens, but I'm around lol
-
May make others who are in front of you harder to hear you... And those in back, easier to hear you... Personally, I haven't mounted it anyplace, just let it hand around my neck under the neckseal, and under chest plate... It's low so that its just between chest and ab. Just some thoughts for you my friend.
