Normally, stay in place by them self with an accurate cut (yes, it's not really easy <_< ) Which helmet do you want to do? Hero and sandtroopers helmets have full black mic tips (and mesh) except the nipple inside which are unpainted (pure white resin) For other stormtroopers helmets, mic tips are black outside and blank inside!

I finally finished to assemble my Hero helmet kit: ------------- I tried to make it as accurate as possible.

Here two pictures of a comparison between Webers rubber trim (on the right) and TM's rubber trim. Webers is smaller. TM's trim isn't the most accurate (because not square as the original) but very close!!!!

Hello everybody. Little update with my WIP TE HDPE. I painted it with a kind of HDPE color (looks like beige on these pictures but it's more a kind of grey/beige) I have to make some adjustments (cut the brow and neck trim)

I read that there were two type of ROTJ helmets. Some have ESB decals and ANH/ESB mic tips. Some other have differents mic tips and decals. There were studios helmets and helmets for Endor forest scenes! But I could make an error.

Hi all! So finally of what I understood, the Cameron Oakley ROTJ helmet isn't accurate? It's not a recast of an original and more a fan sculpt? Does somebody have a pictures of the TE ROTJ and MovieFx ROTJ too please? I never saw one of these (some pictures of MovieFX on Jez website but not the best) It's hard to find a good ROTJ helmet

I entirely agree with you! The most accurate helmet should be also made with the originals moulds. Good philosophy Dan!!! To buy a helmet, it has to be a blow of heart. Each one forms its opinion and not because one says to him “it's me which makes the best, the most beautiful, more than all the others!!!”

Maybe this topic will interest you--------- Read the Billhag's posts!!! Finally I can get S shaped trim from Webers! Not bad but smaller than a original. Better shape than the sealsdirect. Paul, you're neck trim have a great look! Not enough square for a "screen accurate" de,nomination, but certainly the best that I've ever seen since sealsdirect change the shape of if "neck trim"
