  1. Very true and a very tricky one to vindicate this. But hey .... armour is armour , be it PT , Gino , ATA ,RT , TE , Vaj or Tm . All it is is cheap plastic at the end of the day and not worth getting all worked up about , it's very tedious at times . There's much worse things hapening in the world than grown men argueing about plastic. Peace out !
  2. You don't want to make it Very Thick , armour is Always better in a medium guage for both strengh and flexability. Not too sure about the thickmesses over the pond because we use the metric system Over here in the UK , a mix of 2.5mm ,2mm and 1.5mm would be ideal. Although I'm Sure but it could be Very Tricky to get 2.5mm formed on a home set up.
  3. Seefeld ( my fav austrian town ), and the thrill of doing the bobsleigh run at Igles. Plus great boarding !
  4. Loving the squared up front and rear traps , needs a little more detail around the tears and faceplate in general. A bit more work and that's going to be a rip roaring little bucket . Nice one
  5. The helmet in question is mine , I'm not getting into any debates etc , it's a 4 piece lid as stated and originates from my CAP molds which were sent to me by CAP and then tweaked by myself. Cheers, Ps , the ears are seperate , just very well fitted
  6. Nice display and nice armour , congrats on a nice build

    Ebay Armor

I think the ebay rule isn't always true , couple of weeks ago I bought a TE bumpycap kit off ebay , completely legit , didn't know at the time but it actually came from a very well respected member on here. So it aint all bad !

    Ebay Armor

While I agree that the armour is rubbish and vastly over priced , there's no need to sling around wild accusations about sellers. I know the bloke from Chimera , this is not his armour , infact he isn't even doing armour anymore due to massive personal problems in his life. The armour is actually from Imperialarmour ( on ebay ) he's based in nottingham and did a deal with this guy at Jedirobes as an outlet for the armour , unfortunatly Jedirobes obviously wants to milk it for all it's worth. Facts about the armour... SDS battlespec recast helmet Recast FX armour Formed in gloss HIPS Badly strapped Thanks
  10. I miss my old GF bucket can I have it back please Billhag?
  11. Nice lid , a true collectors item . you don't see many of these around
  12. To compliment Nazgul's ESB helmet thread in the esb section , I thought I'd post up some pics of my latest ANH helmet build. I painted this in stages , undercoat , kakhi , and topcoat to give it the chipped up ANH look , I wasn't trying to replicate and specific helmet in the film , just what I thought looked Ok. Hope you like it.
  13. I love the beaten up knackered look of the ANH armour and helmets , IMHO that's what makes a trooper look realistic
