  1. Ok! Thanks Paul. I was a little surprised because the helmet is very strange (the armor too)
  2. I don't want create a new topic for this! But I didn't know that Disney MGM exposed an original ROTJ storm! I saw it on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mgmcinnis/160211821/
  3. Fantastic work! Very clean!!!
  4. Thank you! Jez's website is very great! In fact I research the best stromtrooper helmet kit for a Hero style....so I need it made out of milky white ABS ^^ (yes, just like the TE HDPE for Stunt storm helmet...I'm a little bit fanatic ^^) So AP would be the best....
  5. Hello to everybody! I created this topic to show you my weak experience in the assembly of helmets (it is necessary to train). My first helmet was a bad started kit, bought on ebay. I've never known the history of this helmet....maybe an old TE or simply a recast... I really don't know. I opted for a sandtrooper: Then I got a TE helmet from a friend and I reworked it as an ESB. Decals have been changed before I sell it! Then I tried VT Stunt helmet kit and worked it as an ESB too. Since, all these helmets were sold. As I wrote it in my WTB topic, I have a VT Hero kit to assemble and I wait for one TE HDPE. These helmets will stay in my collection! I think that the VT is one of the most accurate but I don't know everything. What is your opinion on the best Hero helmet? (Made out of ABS naturally)
  6. I'm not an expert on vacuumforming but I read that ABS was hard to form than styrene. Even heated, ABS remains a little rubbery! You will need a great power of aspiration. Or maybe work with heat gun to refine the details (but it is not most practical)
  7. Wow! You work fast...but it's a good and clean work!
  8. A new member with a great armor!!! Good luck for the differents steps!!!
  9. Simply amazing!! Very nice work. Can't wait to see it finish!
  10. Thanks Paul, nice picture! The TS and FX armor have not the same white!
  11. You were very lucky to get these helmets. I really like the stormtrooper. The Mic tips looks like the Tour Suit (or exhibition stormtrooper) You wrote it was made in 1995...like the Special Edition trooper. Maybe the same mold.
  12. Wow, great pictures! Thank you. The TOUR SUIT helmet looks like the Special Edition (ROTJ look with grey decals). But the dome appears to be shorter. In your opinion, lenses are they green or smoked?
  13. Great work! Very nice helmet!!!
  14. Very nice helmets! Congratulations!!!
