  1. Hmm...I believe the experience you had with them in the first place, was bad enough though.... So in a way, it doesn't help them much as far as rep. goes. Good that you got a refund though:-)
  2. I'll see what it comes to, I know a few hobbystores doing model airplanes and such also have airbrush kits.
  3. Yeah, it also sounds expensive and difficult. Hehe.
  4. That's what I thought...shipping by sea, I'll be lucky if I have the cans by christmas. Hehe
  5. That's one sweet lid. I just started modding mine, couldn't wait. Got it today, opened the box, ran around the house and scared my kid for a few minutes.... Then I just started taking it apart. I was scared as hell to start it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. So far I've gotten both ears of (whole and reusable), opened the fourth tooth on both sides and widened the other holes in the frown as well. cut out both mictips (and made sure Stompers hovis fit snug:). Started pulling the helmet apart, but suddenly felt like a break, so ended up playing Siren Blood Curse on PS3 the rest of the night:-)
  6. Does anyone know of an online-store that ships rustoleum world wide? I'm having trouble finding it, and here in Norway, it's as good as impossible to get a hold of. And the standard paint we DO have, won't sit good on plastic.
  7. I, myself am going with the helmet. The challenge as I see it, is to get it loud enough.
  8. As long as you have the beer, you´re safe.
  9. I'll definately check it out! Just need to get this frigging armour in mail first. Hehe. Feels like it's taking forever. And while I've been waiting I'm suddenly more interested in getting an AP. but I guess I'll have to wait a bit. :-) My wife would kill me.
  10. Here are all the links: ----------
  11. Man I'd love to get TE2, but I'd have to sell my car to afford it :-/
  12. You can try these: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=2869
  13. Wouldn´t it be possible to use a heatgun or something to reshape them?
  14. Maybe you'll get to own me some day then:P
  15. I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for my 360 to come back from service, so I too can play some COD4:-)
  16. That was from a Norwegian site, but just google sumosuit or something, loads of hits:-) My stepdad offered to get me one. Hehe.
  17. I use Under Armour in the army and it works great, but at a price... Today I bought black Nike stretchy runningleggings/pants. They didn't cost more than $60, and the upper body that goes with it is at around the same price. All the logos where hidden by the armour. :-)
  18. I'm just about to start building my first armor, and what I've found necessary to get so far is: -rivetgun+rivets -industrial strength velcro -dremel -epoxy glue -exacto knife (I see some have used a hotknife as well) -hotglue gun -electrical tape -snaps -paint for the helmet (if you're not using decals). the grey paint is humbrol #5, i don't remember the black one, but search the forum and you will find it. -small files for the frown amongst other things -a variety of clamps that's all I could think of now, but there are loads of different solutions and ways to tackle all the parts of making the armor complete as I see it. Good luck!
  19. That neckseal looks nice. Gotta check it out.
  20. If you're really, really skinny, maybe this works: ------------
  21. I started out wanting to be the idealized trooper, and I'm already now leaning more towards screen accurate after spending much time reading on this forum. My armor hasn't even arrived yet, so i guess my first one will go in the direction of screen accurate from the start:-) I guess I wanted idealized since that was what the movies gave me when watching them just as entertainment, but after learning more about it all I started seeing it on-screen as well, and picking up on all the differences between each trooper it kinda felt natural going for screen accurate on my armor as well. Now I just gotta get my plastic and start building. BTW: Going on my first troop in a borrowed TK this saturday for the pre-launch of Clone Wars, hopefully I'll have time to see it than as well.
  22. Check out this thread: ---------- Works for skinny, tall guys as well :-P
  23. I'm going for ANH Elite. Just need all the stuff to arrive. Dude was about to form my FX, but he got the wrong ABS delivered, wasn't glossy enough :-( So he has to wait for a new shipment. But as soon as it's in house, the work begins!!
  24. Is that trim so-called "screen accurate"? Looks good:) I might be needing a couple of feet of it.
