I´m an army sergeant, it wouldn´t be to hard to make such a "tutorial" It´s pretty basic.

Yup! Cleared it up a bit for me, that did. Just one more thing though, does it really have to be taken entirely apart for doing this? Just got my fingers crossed it's possible to do the mods without breaking it apart, seeing as it's a hassle if I need to get a new one of those :-)

Just a quick one regarding upgrading the MRCE (I have never done this before). My MRCE is in the mail as we speak and I'm wondering.... This might be obvious to many but, when I've filled in the seams with some kind of past and whatnot, I have to spraypaint it. Do I just sand down the entire helmet with fine sandpaper and then one coat of primer or two, then some sort of white gloss (2-3 coats) and finish off with a clear coat?

I paid $850 for fx-kit with blaster, undersuit, new lenses, holster, gloves and neckseal and fan-system for bucket. I think those are all the parts in the kit. But I might have forgotten something.

FX-suits aren't that expensive. PM they guy in this thread, maybe he still has some: -------------- I ordered an FX 1 month ago. Not from this guy, but they're out there.

Yeah, that might work. My initial thought was to at least make something that had a "thickness" to it, but without being in the way in forms how the armor sits on your body, and not showing outside the edges of the armorpieces. ATM I'm leaning a bit towards the neoprene/wetsuit 2mm solution. But I fear it might get a little sweaty and make you feel way to sexy for ones own good...I don't know:)

I know, hence the thought of a velcro frame for it.

How does it work? Do you just do one and one coat to make it thicker then? If you make this a couple millimeters will it get heavy?
