If you turn the can upside down so the propellant is coming out it does get very very cold very fast. Shouldn't take more than a few seconds to get to below zero in a small area of thin plastic.
Perhaps you could try spraying just the area where you want the glue removed with that canned air stuff for keyboards? That way you could get the cold you need and it wouldn't affect the entire piece? IDK if it would work or not...
Thanks! AP and FX are the only 2 sets I have been able to find good info on. Does anyone have links to info on TE2 and TM?
Also, I can't seem to find a source for AP armor. Any help wold be awesome. (PM?)
I'm trying to decide whether springing for the AP set instead of the FX will be worth it for my first set of armor. I had an FX set all lined up but it sorta fell through.
I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get the AP armor instead of FX because it will fit better. I'm 5'10" and barely 140 lbs. Any thoughts?
Also, keep in mind that I'll be getting a different bucket even if I get FX armor.
Thanks!
Oh, sorry Mike, I'm an idiot, didn't read you're post right. My mistake.
I just thought it was kind of an interesting idea. Turns out I don't think that well early in the morning...
Breathing through woven fiberglass screen should be just fine. Its bound well enough that splinters won't be coming off.
If it were unbound mineral wool you were breathing through then you'd have a problem...
...I used to work for Johns Manville, kind of a fiberglass nerd.
