Hello everyone, im in the process of building a DD resin kit for my centurion application. i have the kit almost done, however i would like to know if there are ideas on putting glass optics in the scope. ive seen some people make this modification before, and i would like to seeing as how it makes it look more realisitic any hints and tips would be wonderful thanks!
  4. its very true.. im still messing with my bells, belt, thighs and boxes
  5. nice. ears look okay here. however did you take them in?
  6. even thought the add picture button? where you paste the copied URL?
  7. send photos of a 45 degree angle of both sides to get a better view
  8. it looks great! im sure it will get you into basic! but the screen accurate is to trim the ears down a little bit more than you have. like so (you can see it better from this shot)
  9. alright i would have recommended the icomm system. its a little more pricey but it makes a killer addition to the suit. http://www.voicebooster.com/icomm-imperial-communication-system.html they are designed to work with aker voice amps.. however it could work
  10. You can always uses more abs to fill the space. (however it may not be an issue) and i glued mine in with hot glue. works just fine and thats great that you got one! i just went to my local lowes and bought a 6 dollar hard hat and kept the liner. what comm package?
  11. Your armor looks fantastic!!! great job!!! the only two things i saw was to 1) close up the sides of your ab to back plates. 2: reallllyyy trim down those shoulder bells there is alot of return edge hitting the bicep. take them in. (only can see your left side) and to answer your screw questions on the detonator mine are and these are my bells.. look at them compaired to yours. i think you can see the difference. great work though!!! also i put a hard hat liner in my bucket. works wonders!
  12. as far as the screws on the thermal. i don't recal the exact size how ever they have to be rounded. i dont have a picture with me however i got them at ace hardware. they are no larger than 4-5 mm i think, paint them black too. just look for standard small rounded flat head screws with a bolt on the end of them
  13. dude! bucket looks amazing!! great progress! i would try tho to take in the ears. around the tube towards to bottom of the bucket. they seem a tad wide. the thermal looks great too! good job!
  14. Good luck! Ears are tricky! Trim a little til you get what you want. If you take a large chunk out you can't put it back
  15. Sorry to hear brother:( build to keep your mind off things? You'll be alright. Sorry for your loss though
  16. Looks wicked awesome! I wish I had little Sanders too haha! Keep up the good work!
  17. looks great and hilarious! dont have to worry about careful trimming!
  18. WAAHHH! i want to convert mine! haha Gosh, it looks so awesome!! i would love to get a spare cheapo set and make it a deathtrooper! gears turning!!! Keep it going! was it fun to Punch holes in the armor? weathering looks great!
  19. I was in the same boat, bought the wrong kind and wouldnt be applied. do youre homework and buy carefully! I went with CAP armor from Scootch on these forums. VERY well build. very pleased! recommended
  20. im not ditching my armor set. they are too classic to throw away. there will be an abundance of both, and even if the new armor takes over the TKs, well we will be few far and between but im alright with that
  21. i have straps at the bottom of the shins to slip under my feet to keep them from popping out over the boot when walking. so i cant put on the shins last. i put on thighs, the shins, slip on the boots and put the shins over the boots
