  1. Alright! I have replaced the Brow trim as some have recommended. Before: After (it added 2mm or so) also ive cleaned it up since the image has been taken.
  2. And for all who followed my build I thank you for the support an answers. Without you I wouldn't have been able to make this accomplishment. For now I am TK33092!))))
  3. If that makes any sense. Short of it is move chest plate up and ab lower. Cod hit thighs. Cut cod from ab and moved cod up:) haha
  4. Yes, bpoodoo I did end up splitting it. Its more of a comfortable fit. I was having issues with the chest being too low so I lowered the ab slightly making it hit my legs so I cut the cod from the ab and tucked the cod plate under the ab plate so there is really no seam. It flexes a lot.better and makes mobility easy. And with the belt being in front of the whole operations you can't tell a difference:) Also a half inch would be a lot. Mine is probably 2mm gap:P But thank you every one! Hope it goes smoother this time too.
  5. Made the buttons wider:) 10-11mm now. they all vary since i hand painted them Now im good
  6. Thank you! -all the drop boxes ive seen have been told to be very close to the belt. milimeters wide. ive never heard anything about a half inch hanging. there is a gap but not much at all. -i can re paint the buttons yes a little wider. -and on the boot, its just wear marks. ill fix it up today before sending anything in
  7. Big Update! my last two pieces came in and i am all finished! Holster With the E11 And the Neck Seal And now.. its time to apply!!! ))))) Thank you all for your time, info and minds to help me though this! It was a blast! Wish me luck!!
  8. A washer is a great idea. But yep he is right about the bolt not doing much for a thin abs plastic piece. I may try out the bolt idea too.
  9. Haha your welcome! but! Yes not hot glue haha that was off the top of my head. Sorry for the wrong advice on that everyone. The plastic is thin so it would melt it. :/ glad you caught that. Good thing I didn't yet
  10. I didnt put any in mine.. and i wish that i did. i never thought about it to be honest. where my mic tips go its really really thin plastic and it crincles every time they are touched.. this kid hit my helmet and i had a heart attack because i thought they went missing. I would think it really depends how thick the plastic is. id recommend it. just to save from the worry. ill probably end up shooting some hot glue in there or something.
  11. Haha for sure! But yeah she enjoyed it. The legs where so smashed together that her foot barley came.out to the bottom of the shin pieces. Oh mom haha
  12. here you go (link below) it helped me alot. you dont need to resize anything dont waste time doing that haha http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/5-howto-post-images-on-the-forums/
  13. here hold on.. someone gave me a tutorial for photo bucket and here. gosh i cant wait to see your progress! its so exciting! i just got mine done
  14. Ordered my neck seal and holster. build put on hold til then. the last pieces of my puzzle.. eeeeeeeee
  15. Huge side note here! But i literally laughed so hard that i cried.. My mom tried my set of armor on... she looked like a little kid. note that i am a good foot taller than she is bahahaha
  16. here is an update after moving some pieces around i think i got it
  17. that i am! do you feel my chest plate is a little low? someone told me they may think so.. however the neck side is right up on my neck so really there isnt any moving it up. i was a little slouched when taking the picture, so it'll separate a little more when stand up taller.. thoughts? Problem areas for me are circled... comments welcome front: Edges seem to poke out a little far Back: Back plate flares down to hit kidney plate.. odd?
  18. I completely understand now. sorry for all the trouble before. :/
  19. Thanks guys! I flattened it out a bit more so it looked like the acutal piece when putting a extra piece of cover strip material behind it:) but thanks form the comments guys! And nope I haven't gotten that far yet. I'll adjust it if I get poked for it when appling to my EIB badge.
  20. and my first test fit!! fits like a glove but may be a few problem areas. if you see anything that needs adjusted let me know! NOTE: this is with out neck seal and holster! need to order them soon!
  21. alright today i added the extra plate under the buttons thanks to locitus. also i made my drop boxes today! i used elastic to rivet to the inside of the back half of the drop box. left; right
