Alright, i made some clips replaced the nylon with elastic, and this is how it turned out! Also, i closed the back of the left Thigh, and im about to put the back cover strip on the right thigh! Questions! When cutting the ammo knee pack, what size rivets? and like the belt was 1 and a half inch from the last ammo pack to the edge, is there a limit with the knee pack? i know it has to be curved edges however. Also ill get some elastic. how is the strap attached to the shoulder bell that wraps around the bicep? could it just be glued? or velcro? snaps?

alright! this morning (i tend to work in the mornings on this thing hahah) but i closed up the gaps in the arms! Also! sealed up the front of the left thigh! however! Should this be closed?? i lined it up so that it would, glued it but the clamp moved.. bummer it is on the left leg, so the ammo packs wont cover it up but the sniper plate will, i tried to break it apart but its not happening. this glue is ridiculous. but i have some hips plastic in acetone right now to make paste in case if i need to fill it.. Preferences?

Also If I move down the bicept I'll have to make a clip right? Does any one have a photo reference of correct length of a gap? How close should they be?

Hm, I didn't think it was too big of a gap! But I will mess with the placement of the bicept / forearm it's one inch nylon. Does everyone prefer elastic?

Yes it's black and thank you for the info back on the ab piece:) I will wait and see but it's one mod I do enjoy. But we will see:)

Haha funny! yeah; this armor is going by so fast and its making me sad:(( i enjoy working on it though and this is really looking and fitting so much better than my other, but thank you! i will look into it for sure and do some more homework! Updates tomorrow morning; i have some more free time i have to start purchasing boots, canvas belt, holster, neck seal and black compression. any recommendations?

Alright, so with everyones advice.. i went for it with what i thought would be best.. so here is this mornings progress.. drew the lines to cut.. This is what it came out to look like.. fits like a glove:) also, legs coming along its all starting to fit together im so excited!! I also have the belt trimmed down too, an inch and a half from the last ammo pack to the edge, and 45 degree cut half an inch in

Can I even get EIB status with hips armor?

The image is my mannequin yes, however it is close in size to me, that gap will close between the kidney and ab when its on me. So I'm a little smaller. However yes if I leave the butt plate how it is it literally touches the front of my thigh. I cut the kidney harshly and seem to need to do the same here. All the other pieces fit me like a glove butbthe kidney and butt plates where really large. With the arms and legs I cut pretty thin too, but I'm a small guy. However the armor won't be skin tight.. I just Dont like a lot of padding. Thanks everyone!

Questions.. Butt Plate: today i trimmed 2.5 inches off the kidney plate on each side.. the maniguinne is thicker than i am, so the gap will close. however with the large cut, the butt plate sticks out. from what i have seen from my search today is that the butt plate should line up with the end of the kidney plate or a little futher in front, being tiny is going to result in my cutting into this pretty hard.. and it will be far from the mold line.. here is an image with the line i MIGHT cut. please let me know if you have any insight. thank you! The next "issue" really isnt one, however i have seen some armor pieces cut the crotch from the chest plate. but where and how close is the question.. I did it on my other armor set and it was SUPER comfy and really easy to bend. with this armor set being different, i was wondering if any of you have done this mod, if it keeps you from EIB/Centrion status, and if it will inter fear with the platement of the belt (ive seen snaps along my "cut line" (blk line in image) before. thanks!! Just dont want to cut/work any more til i have straight answers! thank you!!

Hahaha alright thanks! I Dont really want to break apart the bucket to fill it and repaint. I like the 5 anyhow. But normally on buckets I see the 5 cut out hole skipped and painted on the other side as if it should be cut out

Okay guys.. Keep it or fill it? I know the CRL is specific however the original photo shows 3-4-5 and in some cases 6 after doing homework. It only makes sense for 5 to be okay...
