  1. Well said Scootch. But still.. The guy is lying right from the start. If I had an original helmet, damaged or not, I'd be all in your faces about it. He clearly doesn't have an original.
  2. Dedication! Will look forward to the finished results. Hadn't noticed the missing return edges on the chestplate. Guess you learn something everyday, in this hobby.
  3. Pretty nice upgrade Are the boots the same?
  4. Wow... He's really eating it up.. But hey. Who would question a website, offering free armour?
  5. At least he's not trying to pass it on as "screen used movie prop".. Although you'd think so, with that price-tag..
  6. Hey. Mine is mostly black, when looking through it. There is a thin brass-line inside, but I think that might just be where the small frontal part meets the larger main part. Hope that helped, and good luck on your build.
  7. Loved the flashes of possible outcomes But you might want to remove the sound, next time you're getting up from the couch. That plastic-crackling was excruciating Keep it up!
  8. Funny! I read through those exact same pages last night! a lot of entertainment, a little sad, and pretty confusing from time to time Truly amazing, that you Guys could find heads and tails in all of it!
  9. Link?
  10. Used once for Halloween... Either he has a lot of money and time, or he really needs money.
  11. http://westland.nl/product/2160 Bought a couple of M38a2s from this site. The site says: "It is dedicated to collectors or those with historical interest in militaria from this period. The Items on this site are sold for historical or research purposes only." Although it says in the scope description: "For the people who are building a STORMTROOPER blaster this is the scope you need". I do not believe they will sell it to you, if you tell them that you need it for the E-11. I do not incite lying, when you get the question "is it for the star wars gun?". Be your own moral compass. Cheers.
  12. Ok. I'll give it a go. I already have a real M38, so referencing won't be a problem Thanks.
  13. Yeah I know. And I also bought a bucket of Bondo. But as I've never used the stuff before, I'm trying to find tutorial or something like that. So I don't screw up my scope
  14. No matter. Just ended up springing(?) the spring. But if anyone reads this anyway. I wouldn't mind being directed at a good M38a2>M38 tutorial Cheers!
  15. Hope this is the right place to ask. Just got a couple of M38a2 scopes in the mail. But they still have the excess metal on them. Does anyone know the best, and safest way, to remove the metal without damaging the scope itself? Would post picture... But I have no idea how to do that. Thank. -Jannick
  16. Yeah. Some of them are pretty impressive. Especially when you consider the materials he uses.
  17. I don't think so... But I'm pretty sure his armor is EIB Approvable!
  18. Haha. FancyMode but Yeah, that helped! Thanks
  19. Yeah... Think that's the problem?
  20. Yeah, too bad with the quality.. And that could not, have been a commercial TK. I'd say it's definitely a 501st-made. Even had the bump under the eye.
  21. Do you know where there's a video of it? Not because I'd know who it is. I just really wanna see it
  22. Perfect way to make the idealized helmet!
  23. No thanks Paul I'm fairly certain I'll like the feel of the plastic ones better. The Latex would be for "special occasions", or just showing off Besides. I have a feeling that I might switch the rubber gloves out with thin leather/skin ones, for comfort. So it would be nice to both have comfortable gloves, and screen-accurate. Of course I wont know, until I've tried them
  24. Thanks guys. Guess I'll check out Karin or the bay
