  1. You do have a valid concern here...and remember that it is kind of hard to place the authenticity of a set of armor, when everyone has different body types and head circumference...Because I believe that if you omit certain armor makes and styles, that is just as good as saying...in order to be a canon ANH stormtrooper, you have to be 5/10" to 5/11" standing, and weigh 140 - 185 pounds, where is the Canon authenticity line drawn? Because I believe that there are many of us who stride for perfection of our armor, but what about the person wearing it? I personally fit the profile and the conditioning of an ANH trooper, but it doesn't mean that my ANH Storm Trooper is a better representation of yours because I am in the athletic shape of a stormtrooper, or does it? this is what I am talking about...there are allot of grey areas that can't be filled no matter how hard we try...Just my .02 cents
  2. YES THEY DO!!! AND ITS A GREAT CONVERSATION STARTER
  3. I think that is allot of great information and analysis it has definitely helped me to ponder the "what if's" of the storm trooper armor options ITS MAKING MY HEAD HURT!!! I hate being obsessed with authenticity, accuracy, and canon
  4. Yeah, I believe your right Butah...every vehicle seemed to have its designated operator.
  5. Plenty of Tk's see action, get battle scared, and damaged...I don't like the so called sandies always getting the credit for having the battle hardened look, just a pet peev of mine i guess... damit shiny TK's can kill just as good as any sand trooper!

  7. yeah, at the half step, and mark time marching...plus the three days before, when you have to practice, but I don't know if youll be in uniform...you might
  8. AH, but aren't questions asked to seek the truth? Questions are given with the expectations of an answer, and with every answer found, ussually brings up another question... plus the question wasn't my own in the first place...it was from my girl friend...so if I knew the answer I wouldn't have asked all of you...but i guess I know better now Bernard YES!!!, you are right about the Galactic Empire being modeled after the nazi's...the Storm troopers, got their name from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd SS divisions which spearheaded into Poland and western Europe early in the war...these three SS divisions were known as Hitler's Stormtoopers
  9. Yeah, i was told that there was "8" at one time go figure

  11. Hey Butah, My buddy uses some white cut up bucket pieces, you know the thick plastic pails you see at construction sites...I thought it was a good idea
  12. HERE IS A GENERAL QUESTION THAT I GOT FROM MY GIRL FRIEND... How many people all together played Anakin/Darth Vader? this includes voice actors and anyone that put on the suit.
  13. Was the MG - 13 ever used, because it is pretty much the same as a 34 just with a MAG and a folding stock???
  14. Yeah hobnails and heel plates. marching in step...it would demand attention!
  15. Good idea...I used some of the the left over white fuzzy part of the normal velcro that I didnt use cuz I used the industrial stuff...I applied it to similar areas as yourself, and it also helps to protect the armor too, and I find that the white velcro blends in with the armor...
  16. Yes, my question was from our modern world, (I should have specified that sorry) and so many of us know who George modeled the Empire off of...
  17. So, the LFL collectors blaster does't come with a counter on it, because its a ROTJ LINK... My Webpage
  18. I got a question for you all <_< ... How many of you actually know who the original stormtroopers where? the answer is kind of disturbing
  19. When I was a kid, I always played Star Wars at school with my friends, imitating the storm troopers fighting and being struck down...I always loved the storm troopers...but they also had a misterious existance, we didn't know if they were men or robots...I always said that they were left overs from the clone wars, and Ironically I was right at the age of 6. ...also when i was a kid, I aways wondered if they were ever going to make the suits for people and children to wear, but they never did, at least as far as I know that could be afordable...but now that I can actually dress and don the armor of my heroes, it makes me proud to walk around and bring smiles to children's faces, and see the surprised looks on the faces of the parents, who I know that some of them had my same experiences and desires as a kid, but are to affraid to ask about the 501st...Maybe they think it would be to childish or something but I love it, and want to be burried in my armor
