  1. I trimmed my chest and back plates so they would fit more flush with the ab plate, I use elastic to attach the chest and back plates so they are free from the ab plate, it allows me to be more mobile in my armor, and doesn't restrict movement, I'm happy with it
  2. Yes, theres always room for relaxation
  3. I think it looks great!
  4. you just have to put it together, try it on and trim it, do what ever you can in it, walk run climb stairs sit, push ups...and see if it pinches you...where ever it pinches you need to trim it
  5. Yeah it is, I get about 50/50 in my in box, and its hit or miss with all of the other topic subscription replies...Oh well, I just check the forum when I can and click on "New Posts" now to see whats new and what going on
  6. I personally think it should apply to all members regardless of what the standards were 5-7 years ago, you have to keep evolving, or you will just be passed up
  7. I was wondering if you cn get 501st TD approval without a back pack
  8. Yeah, i would think that alot of these suits were thin as to save on cost of material, plus they weren't being made for durability, they were made to survive for about 2 - 3 months at the most, then melted down, and recycled into other props
  9. Makes me want to do one of my helmets in this manner, NICE WORKMANSIP!
  10. Tour suits are pieces of junk, they don't depict the real armor very well at all, if you have ever had a chance to view one in person NOT THROUGH GLASS!, actually touch them and see what they are made out of, and what is under the armor, you would agree with me, they are junk! I don't believe that many of the actual suits from the movie exist any more, besides the tour suits were made so that they are not able to be worn buy anyone which shows in the armor, in case one was stollen. just observations from someone who has seen and inspected one in person
  11. I think i'll add one of these to my order with them...thanks for the info
  12. What's HIPS's Shelf life these dayz...can the warranty be voided pretty easily?
  13. You know me, I have no life, so I would prolly have the time to take on the task this summer, what is the suit made out of? I forgot thanks again man
  14. Yeah but I have heard of no source for a TE I'm guesing "2", not the "1", I don't think the TE 1 exists anymore, but I could be wrong But if you got one shoot me a PM with the info if you have the time
  15. Yeah, thats what it was... I knew it was something like that
  16. The AP is a copy of the TE right? cuz thats what I am getting, because it fits me and is more movie accurate
  17. Yeah, what made it suck even more is that I don't recall him saying anything negative about any of the other club or orginisations, well, I'll just stick with the "in house" LFL stuff, were you are more apreciated and taken care of allot better
