  1. I am about to get into converting a TK armor suit that I don't wear anymore into an incinerator trooper. My first question is about the pauldron.----------
  2. Here are some photos of mine
  3. Nice piece! Love it! I have a lot of SW tats. My chest piece won tat of the year in bantha tracks (sw insider) back in 2006 (I think or 07). There is a book also called The Force in the Flesh (there is a 2 page layout of my stuff)...that came out around the time of celebration 4. It's an entire book (big coffee table style) of people with SW tats. It's pretty awesome if you were able to get your hands on it. I'll post pics of mine when I get to my pc later on...
  4. Looks Great Lee!! Good luck fellow ECG trooper!!
  5. I've seen the video Chris. What a couple of punks..... Glad you didn't get hurt and glad your armor didn't get damaged. I hope those guys caught and are taught a lesson,,,
  6. Ok. I'm on vacation so I'm unable to come back with quick responses...just getting to this now. Flip back to page 4 on this thread and you can see my shin section. Have you assembled your shins completely?? Because you wouldn't be able to add the back coverstrip unless you knew which shin was left or which was right. The inside of the shins are more curved than the outside. The back cover strip should be attached/glue to the outside of each shin.....so the inside of the shin completes the closure by fitting under that cover strip when fastened/velcroed/hooked....... post a photo of your shins if you want so I can see
  7. Yep. I have the trooperbay ones....applyed like about a year ago.....been on at least 10 troops since then.....no lifting no issues
  8. ahh...just saw ....he's got latex....Mine are white rubber
  9. I think you should. That's what i did....The way you have it drawn out looks good to me
  10. I trimmed both inside and out. First I took the 2 pieces and wrapped them around my bicep. One overlapping the other. Then I marked the amount of extra. Then I trimmed both pieces little by little until they were sized right and so there seemed to be an even amount of meat on each side of the cover strip..... does this make sense?...the way I worded it? I posted the link to my build thread a few posts up on this thread if you want to check it out.....
  11. I think you're looking great so far. There's a lot to cut off of that armor if you're a smaller guy like yourself....good job...
  12. I think you are on the right track and looking good for the most part.....on the right bicep....it looks like you trimmed your inside piece more on one side (the bottom) more than the other side (top) . Watch that.....my concern is how the cover strip will fit on the bottom of that right bicep. It looks like it will just fit....if you trimmed it a hair more....your cover strip would sit over the fold in part...and that wouldn't be good...On the other side of that piece...you look just right...there is enough meat there.....I think you're ok. My point is...just watch the trimming...I hope that makes sense... (:
  13. Hey, good luck with the build! I completed my NE armor build with the exception of the helmet. Here is the link to my build thread...if it could be of any help! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23285-ne-armor-build-thread/
