  1. I was quiet the last week or 2.....this is all I got right now
  2. I was thinking this might be uncomfortable if kept like this.....and the photos shows trimmed way back in comparison. ...cool. will trim back ....thanks for looking out guys
  3. thanks..more updates coming in a minute
  4. OK....cover strips to thighs...trim down shoulder straps.....trimmed down belt and put rivet covers in proper spots
  5. Right on. Will do...Thanks Mathias....
  6. Right on. I want as much advise as I can get from the staff.....I'm not going to be sensitive to critiquing. I want this to be the best it can be for my build.....thanks again for checking out the thread.....
  7. Ok. I will check screen shots from now on. I do see the slight differences in the builds....so I understand why you're advising me to use screen shots. I really appreciate the help with this...thanks
  8. I'm using random centurion approved photos
  9. Ok. Simple enough. Thanks. I was thinking the belt seemed bigger in areas in comparison to the photos I'm using for reference....and very obvious in the ones you posted...
  10. Ok. so the rivet covers should be at the very ends of the belt? And.....trim off that ..what looks to be 1/4 inch that is above and below the ammo boxes...in other words I'm trimming the long ends of the belt down? correct? Then I will have to re-cut my corner angles on all four corners? None of that is a problem...I just want to make sure I understand correct...
  11. My CO will be building my helmet......It's been shipped to him. I didn't even try to eye it up
  12. On the bottom of them...yes
  13. Sniper plate....thighs are cut and ready for cover strips
  14. No thighs yet. The thighs are way too big. I wanted to get everything north of the thigh situated before I start doing whatever I have to do to make the thighs right....
  15. more progress....later photos are just showing the rivet cover positions on the ammo belt...before it gets riveted to the canvas belt
  16. The forearms were too long for me too....I shortened them
  17. I just score the inside corner where the return edge starts. After I do that I score the return edge in a couple of spots....then the return should just break off with a little bend....check out the trooperbay videos on youtube..... I'm keeping the back as is
  18. thanks......as far as return return edge on forearms...I'm not putting mine back....I wouldn't even know how to put it back...I believe you are not supposed to have a return edge on the forearms if you are going screen accurate
  19. I'm using snaps in webbing instead of plastic snap plates. I believe they are about 2 inch by 1 1/4 inch
  20. E-6000..... live and die by it
