  1. Yeah, I didn't plan on leaving much. Thank you! I'm trying
  2. Right on Adam.....I do have....not sure if I'm gonna make everything perfect and tight like that. I'm going to get all of my pieces/parts together first and then decide on how much cleanup I'll do...
  3. Finished left forearm assembly.....needs a little sanding here and there ....
  4. moving along like a turtle....final cuts made on left forearms Sizing, measuring, and marking up areas to be cut on the right forearms
  5. hopefully ....I'm on the right track...won't trim til tomorrow
  6. Ok.....here is the trimming mapout...(left foreram) and yes...I still need to slice in the curve in the inside piece Top view (back end is to the left) Upside down (bottom)
  7. perfect....and that is what I figured I can do. Thank you for sketching it out!
  8. ok. that all makes sense. Measure for cover strip on the front. My question is...Did I F up the inner forarms so bad (in response to TK-4516's comments) that I need new ones and can not use these??
  9. I was hoping there would be some more feedback on my gigantic mistake. I'd like to think that shaping can fix this since I didn't trim anything down to my size yet. I already contacted vender about new innies...I have a real busy schedule this week. Will move on to another area of build as soon as I free up....
  10. I haven't cut anything to my size yet. I have small forearms. Where you see the spots labeled A,B with the little hash is an approximate spot where I would have to cut off for my forearms to fit myself using 5/8 wide cover strips. Now....that means the section (back edges) that I wasn't supposed cut down on the back of the inner forearm would actually have gotten cut off anyway as I cut down for my sizing....can my inner forearms be saved since I didn't cut for my sizing yet? Do I make sense?...also....the inner curves on the inner forearms have the return edges cut off and have to be sanded and smoothed.....that's why they look the way they do right now...
  11. O no.. I just taped them together to line up and cut off the access on top/bottom(wrist/elbow joint) areas. I still had to fit them to my forearm and then slice down each side.I was going to use 5/8 width cover strip....
  12. Its all good. Its my first time .......so.....looks like I'm learning the hard way lol. There are plenty more parts for me to work on (or in my case...screw up)....until I get new innies...
  13. haha...o great...I thought I was doing alright eyeing up photos....o man...thanks
  14. Day 2 Cutting off the real obvious overlap on the edge of the forearms...
  15. Day 1 Got rid of return edges on forearms and cut finishing strips for them......finishing strips are 5/8 wide...photo is on weird angle..makes the strips look like they are more wide on one end than the other....but they are not.......they are 5/8 from top to bottom......next up.......size up and trim forearms
  16. perfect..that's what I hope someone was going to say. Thanks!
  17. which outer bicep is left/right??....in the photo...the one on the left has a flat edge on one side(almost makes it easier to lay finishing strip on - even after trimming). The one on the right does not have a flat spot. Which would be left or right? I can make either work if I had to to. I'm just not sure if there is a correct/incorrect side for each....
  18. I do have a question. I skimmed the forum just now and couldn't find anything. 1 of the inner biceps have the thumb-like print indentation and the other does not. Which one is left and which one would be the right?
