  1. OMG you shot a fellow troppe------------
  2. And there was much excitement good luck with your build
  3. Got my finger caught between a couple of them, was not pleasant, plenty strong, managed to chip one when I dropped it
  4. Here you go guys this is the plans I found, like I said I had to cut and paste on to A4 size sheets and print then cut and tape together
  5. You are very welcome, I thank those before me that have posted info and threads in the past. I will be making some templates of my builds later and try to fix the problems that I have found with some of those, make it a bit easier for those who follow in my footsteps
  6. Not the same one, I will post a link when I get back to my computer
  7. I'm in the middle of making a mannequin for my armor and I have all my blasters on stands, still need to find a box for transporting
  8. Well it's no good the wait is killing me, armor armor where arth thou armor Sorry but yes, another weapon build, going to attempt a DLT-19 Found some technical drawings online, was a full size print so I had to spend an hour copy and pasting onto A4 size template then print them all. Just spent an other hour cutting and piecing them together, this is what I have so far. I may just add that most of the pipe sizing seem slightly larger than most of the templates I have found before, oh well cross my fingers and hope this one is ok.
  9. Templates here http://www.whitearmo...er/page__st__20 Some nice builds here http://www.whitearmo...very-pic-heavy/ and here http://www.whitearmo...rion-standards/ Good luck, remember before you start read, read, then read some more, I picked up so many different ideas looking through many threads, always learning ---------------
  10. Thank you kind sir, it's only from info others have posted and some internet searching that allows me to build. BTW I'm getting bored again and no armor as yet, hmmmmm DLT-19 templates come here lol
  11. Don't think any of us will stop learning, always seems there is new info or pics's found form obscure distant sources, bless FISD and it's members
  12. Apart from your D ring looking a bit too round you have done a great job. Bit hard to make out the details in the last few pic's, bit blurry but from what I can see looks good to me well done
  13. Made a small mount to hold up the front of the gun, thought I would need to make a full length one but this seems to keep it upright. Will give it a coat of charcoal hamerfinish like my blaster stand and look at making the name plates
  14. Thank you all for the kind comments, Uk has been crossed off my list twice, so Canada and USA are still there, hope to get over to the other side of the world in the future
  15. I managed to find a travel pouch, hangs around the neck, has zip compartments, should be able to fit phone, keys, wallet, would fit behind a chest plate
  16. So no liquids 24hr's before and event LOL
  17. Welcome aboard, looking very nice there, good luck with approval
  18. Here are a few pic's assembled Some close up details More detailing Diffused light in action I have contacted a few places in the US to try to get some slings and a mounting bracket but not had any replies as yet, would look better complete with slings. If anyone is able to get a pair and a bracket cheap of course lol please pm me Very pleased with the end result, armor you better hurry up or it's a DLT-19 build LOL
  19. Whaaaatt lol, if I had armor I wouldn't need to build blasters You know Canada is one of those places I want to visit, used to work for a company here that where importing Bourgault farm machinery and met a few Canadians that came to tutor us in assembly. There is a trip I keep seeing advertised from Canada, clear top train ride through the mountains and an atric cruise, if only I had the funds. Can't see you paying $6000 for me to come build you a blaster LMAO
  20. Everything painted, stained, varnished, cleared, now it's just a matter of assembly Not sure about weathering as yet, may leave it in pristine condition for a while, then do some weathing down the track, I can see a sandtrooper armor build in the not too distant future, I have been bitten by the bug LOL. I do have plans and pic's for a DLT-19 so there may be a build coming to you soon
  21. Good luck with your build, will be watching
  22. Looking good there, you can allways hit the end of the pipe with a little heat, then put the cap on, it will compress the pipe a little so it will make it eaier to remove
  23. Nice to see you are back on track, you could allways print one yourself for the time being or even hand paint, you seem to have the skills. I find my lack of paint skills disturbing lol
