  1. Those are the boots i am seconds from buying Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  2. Ha no doubt. I really need boots to see if my shins are to tight Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  3. So you are going to break them in then paint? Will that make the paint last longer?
  4. Where did you find your heavy duty snaps for the butt snaps and the side? Well all of yours are the same. But the Dritz ones I have access to don't have that little lip that makes them flush with the armor.
  5. Since you seem to have the characteristic AM 2.0 brow lean too. What is the communities opinion on trimming the front of the dome a few mm just to make it straight? I know most people say they fiddle with the screws but I think most of us are committed to the hole placement once drilled.
  6. Thanks guys. I just read a lot of eib and centurion comments that say try to raise or lower the belt. And making a new hole and moving the snap sound like a real pain in the butt. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  7. Sweet. Do you have a new piece or are you going to try and fill the hole? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  8. Ok I see the snap on the wearer's left is a little higher due to the curve. At least I'm not crazy on that part. I took some pictures of my dilemma and put them on my build thread. (So not to junk up yours with pictures of stuff made wrong ) http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29910-seantx-am-20-stunt/page-2#entry420251
  9. So I'm up to assembling the belt. I have the snaps for the belt measured and installed. 15mm up on both sides 28 mm to the viewers left and 59mm to the viewers right. But I'm worried how the belt will lay. Per references the cloth portion of the belt should be 1/4" below the ab button box. However if I draw a line around the waist parallel the ground the top of where the cloth belt should be gets within a cm of the top. If the snaps were to be in the center of the belt there should be ~ 1.5" from the line to the snap. Belt in its proper place with approximate location of snaps. Looks good but snaps would be way to high. Here is how the belt has to align for approximately proper snap placement. But now the belt is to high.
  10. Awesome man. Did you get a chance to adjust the rivet placement of the thigh ammo pack?
  11. Do you have any pictures of the back of the belt to show how close the snaps are to the top edge? When I placed my belt 1/4" below the abb button box it placed the snaps really close to the top like 1 cm. But your pictures almost make them look centered. And does it matter how thick the drop boxes are? I saw someone in some post showing off that theirs were only 10 mm think.
  12. What color do we paint the inside of the mic tips? They came silver metalic. Should we paint the inside white and then the outside black? Or can we leave the inside untouched and still achieve centurion?
  13. I didn't see anyone else comment but unless I'm unfamiliar with hero builds the TD screws should still be black pan head slotted screws. Not Philips head. Unless those are place holders. Did you ever figure out how to get rid of the "peoples eyebrow" effect when you put the ears on? I had my two helmets looking goo with the brow trim level but once I put the ears on its all tilted to the left like yours.
  14. Awesome. So in your mind less of an edge is more desirable. And yes I just got my Tkittell belt yesterday so it is a perfect 3". Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  15. So on the belt of my AM 2.0 kit. The height of the belt is 4" already but the distance from the top of the boxes to the edge of the belt is 6mm. Which is the critical dimension the 3mm you trimmed to or the overall 4"?
  16. Ah cool. My two AM 2.0 kits were off as well and I just finished wrestling with them. I just drilled new holes in the helmet halves rather than the ear. Thanks for showing us what a right AM kit looks like.
  17. What kind of snaps did you buy to attach the belt to the abb plate? Those look beefier than the ones used for the ussual strappings. Oh Snap just saw your ebay listing post. My bad.
  18. On the bottom screw on your left ear you have the washer under the screw head. Is that correct?
  19. Cool so are they screen accurate? I guess if the pros do it I will too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  20. I made Bicep clips to your instructions and they came out well. Thanks for the simpler design. But what says we need them? I don't see any centurion applications with them. Do they just make the suit wear better?
  21. So this is a dead topic. But was there a technique to not gluing the top and bottom of the glove together using the aloha method?
  22. So does that make this kit AM2.1? Cause the 2.0 I got in October wasn't redesigned.
  23. Hmmm. Did you fill in the old holes? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I257 using Tapatalk
  24. Man I'm having a hell of a time with my ears. Are yours to permanently fixed that you couldn't take the left ear off and show where you drilled new holes?
  25. That was my next idea. Where on the ear did you decide to heat? I've had spotty success with my heat gun. I think I set it to hot and the sharp edges curl. Is it taboo to heat the cheek and push it out to close the gap between the ear and cheek? Why do you think its not good enough for other approval?
