  1. Not sure how to follow a thread on tap talk, so I'll just post this here so I can find it again FOLLOWING [emoji4]
  2. It ships from Singapore. That's more local for you than it is for us here in the US right? [emoji12]
  3. Excelent review. You should post a link this thread in Toybiz's thread also. I am going for the exact same setup as this. My go pro harness should be here Thursday. I ordered the same throat mic from IXRadio, the 3.5mm mic only (no head set) dual transponder XVTM26M35. How long did it take to come in? I ordered mine on the 22nd.
  4. Looking good Tim. Best of luck!
  5. I used JB Plastic Weld. It is a 2 part putty that you knead until it becomes a uniform color, them I pressed and molded it around the eye sockets to create a lip. After it hardened I drilled and tapped a few holes to mount the lenses. ----------
  6. Hey Chris, are those the same ones that are sold on TrooperBay? http://trooperbay.com/helmet-bags/
  7. I used whiteout/tipex. "white nail enamel" that sounds like a good option, I'll have to look into that. Thanks.
  8. Snap 2 on the bicep connects to snap one on the forearm. You are right about the ab snaps on the outside holding up the belt, but they are not part of the strapping system.
  9. That would really depend on your helmet. On mine, one side was fine, the other side was so thin I felt like I could put me thumb nail right through it. I ended up reinforcing both for symmetry. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29170-tk-31415-requesting-anh-hero-han-solo-eib-status-ata418/#entry371299 Sent from my iTricorder using Tapatalk

  11. Steve, thank you so much for the approval, and for all of your tireless work looking at and critiquing every EIB and Centurion submission on these boards. It's a tough job, and you do it to perfection. I'm thrilled to bits to join the ranks of Centurion. My shoulder bells are what they are. I think I would like to get bigger ones as I fill out the ATA and I think I can make it look better. I might replace the biceps also as they are also pretty tight. Thanks everyone for the congrats. Pete
  12. Thanks Rowan, I'll have to try that. The tutorial I followed suggested the bend would help to keep the TD more secure. I'll follow your advice and straighten them a bit.
  13. Hi Scott. Thanks for the kind words. I have a hard hat liner inside the helmet. The top of my head pretty much touches the top. The bubble lenses are flat just directly in front of my eyes, and bubbled in my peripheral vision area, if that makes sense. I got them from John Danter TK-8456, he calls them Flubble Lenses. As long as I am looking directly in front, there is very little distortion. I have regular lenses I can switch out if the troop calls for better peripheral vision, like if there is going to be a lot of little kids running around.
  14. Hi All, Here is my submission for Centurion Status. I was aiming for a "A New Hope Han Solo" look. All comments are welcome. Name: Pete Cantrell TK ID: 31415 FISD Name: Zaphod Garrison: New England Garrison Mandatory Information Armor = ATA Helmet= ATA (Hand Painted Look Decals from Trooper Bay) Blaster= DoopyDoo with some upgrades EIB Request: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29170-tk-31415-requesting-anh-hero-han-solo-eib-status-ata418/ Optional Height = 5'11" Weight = 205lbs Boots = TK Boots Canvas belt = Tkittell Hand Plates = Sonneschein (Karin's Han Solo Alternative Style) Electronics= Echo Fan System for Bucket, Aker Amp with ICOM (adding environmental sound system one of these days) Neck Seal = Veedox (Hero Style with Bib) Holster = gazmosis Summary of Upgrades Replaced bracket strapping system with snap and strap system. This allowed me to trim all return edges for more room This also allowed me to lower the chest plate Trimmed chest arm area as suggested in EIB submission Hand painted tube stripes Started eating better and lost 5lbs (205 in pics, down to 200 now ) Added straps between shoulder bells and biceps. Kept the bicep hooks for the Han Hero look, but I no longer consider them functional. Added a snap to the ab to keep the belt fixed in the proper position. This also helps to better support the weight of my blaster New rigid holster Repainted the blue ab buttons Full Body Front-Arms at side Back-Arms at side Left-Arms raised Right-Arms raised Action Shot Armor Details Ab Kidney Detail-Left Ab Kidney Detail-Right Ab Buttons Hand Plates Shoulder Bridge Back Shoulder Bridge Front Thigh Pack Attachment Knee Plate Drop Box Back Cod and Butt Plate Connection Interior Strapping Kidney Plate Notch Wrist side of forearms Helmet Details Front Left Side Right Side Back Hovi Mic Tip Detail Lens Color and Bubble Detail (Back Lit) S-Trim Frown Detail Blaster Details Blaster Right Blaster Left Blaster D-Ring Detail Blaster Front View Accessories Details Neck Seal Thermal Detonator Holster Attachment Thank you for looking.
  15. Sorry for the late response. I've been using Tap Talk alot lately and missing a lot of posts. (New TapTalk update sucks) The Husky pictured below is 25 Gallon and cost me $50. I have it lined with tool chest drawer liner, about 6 feet or so, so it wraps all the way around length wise. Shins go inside the thighs; forearms biceps and bells go inside the shins. Both thighs containing everything goes inside the torso. I'm still experimenting with packing to find the best way to do it. (blaster is not in the bin in the pictures below) Tim, I have to disconnect my chest from my ab to get it to fit better, your bracket system may prevent you from using this bin (keep your receipt). Previous Tetris experience a plus for sure ---------- -------------- -----------
  16. This will be my first Celebration, so excited!
  17. Hi Sebastien, I made a hero ATA for my first build. Got EIB, and just need to take some new pics for centurion application. See my EIB from the link in my signature. You can do it, it just takes a little more work that's all. Sent from my iTricorder using Tapatalk
  18. You need one of these http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29916-rigid-leather-holsters-are-back-anh-esb/#entry382099
  19. 501st membership, and depending on what patches you want. I joined the New England Garrison. I didn't have access to Garrison swag until I got 501st approval as a TIE Pilot. This allowed me to purchase Garrison swag, 501st swag and Jolly Roger Squadron swag (TIE Pilot Detatchment). Until I got my TK approved, I didn't have access to the FISD swag. Access to alot of cool stuff comes with approval of your costume of choice.
  20. I have the Stanley Box and found it huge, so I recently picked up a Huskey. The Huskey will fit everything but the helmet. ------
  21. Awesome! That's excellent news. Congrats! No more "aren't you a bit tall for a .....? [emoji106] Sent from my iTricorder using Tapatalk
  22. Did you get that approved yet? Sent from my iTricorder using Tapatalk
  23. That is the material i used for my sons Jawa. The color turned out the same as yours.
  24. These measurements are a target to aim for, but may not be achievable for everyone. Try to use these measurements in the front, and if you need more room in your armor use wider cover strips in the back. I ended up with almost 30mm in the back of my thighs. These measurements should be used as a guide not a rule. It all comes down to how your armor fits and looks on YOU. Look through the EIB and Centurion request threads for someone around your size and with the same armor to see what it looks like, they may even have a build thread.
  25. Here is another shot from the webs with unconfirmed details of the left side of the helmet.
