  1. I don’t use a tote to move my armor around...I use a backpack type travel carry case for a car seat. You can Google pics. Very mobile, comfortable and inexpensive. Just an option.
  2. There is someone over on the RPF who is going to be doing a 3D printed Iron Man suit...it just as well could be stormtrooper armor.
  3. First choice would be ABS glossy white, I would prefer to not have to paint it up...it would just stand out against the glossy ABS armor. Let me know if you can help...thank you. Cheers!
  4. Hey all, I am still in need of the ammo piece for the right thigh armor...help please!! THX!
  5. I imagine that you put your boots on after the shins go on?
  6. I guess I have gone in a completely different direction...I use snaps on my outside and inside ankles (the elastic webbing of the boot to be exact) and of course snaps on the inside of the shin armor to match up with the ankle snaps. Problem solved, I have never had issue since. Even when going up and down stairs my shin armor stays just where they need to be...no more riding up on top of my boots. Hope this helps. Cheers! ~Kevin
  7. A continuity issue with blending this scene with the control room scene...two stunts go into the Falcon and two heroes come out. LOL
  8. Just to add an observation that I have had looking at many different type of boots used outside of the original is that the boots seem to look as though they have a steel toe. And you can see what I am talking about in the above illustration, is this something that is just accepted today? Or perhaps something that is too much to in effort or process to match? I know attention is given to the shape and texture of the webbing used but how about the shape of the toe? Just my two cents. Cheers!
  9. Awesome job on the E11. I will have to post some pics once I get mine all dolled up. Cheers!
  10. Awesome! Thanks for the help. Cheers!
  11. Hello, Has anyone tried to do any mods on their Hyperfirm E11 to make it more screen accurate? Cheers!
  12. Great job!! Now don't trip over the furniture.
  13. Hello, I don't have an answer for you but instead a question...where can I get TM armor for myself? Cheers! ~Kevin
  14. The scary thing is I am going to troop in my TK boots. I will need to do several short walks to see if there is anything I need to tweek before the 3 Day. I hope that it works in my favor and you can make it up for the event.
  15. Hello, This is just a heads up so people can keep this event in the back of their mind's because its not taking place until July 20th. I am having a fund raiser to help raise my required donation amount to participate in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk here in Minnesota at the end of Aug. I will be in my TK armor for the 3 Day, 60 mile walk so the challenge is set. My wife, Eileen, was diagnosed with cancer in October of 2012 and fought for a little more than a year, she just passed away November 7. I am walking the 3 Day in her memory so please help me to honor her and to share her beautiful spirit with others. On Saturday July 20th, at a local sports facility here in the Twin Cities, I will be holding a soccer tournament for kids in the metro area to participate and raise donations. The event and the specifics are still in the planning process but the idea is to field a team of Star Wars character's to play soccer against young athletes in a full day of matches and events, rain or shine. Keep in mind, its not a serious game of soccer by any means, we will just get on the field and kick the ball around a little and have a lot of fun with it. I hope to have enough of a 501st presence so that some will be on the field while others are taking part in photos and such with the kids. This event is also open to the Rebel Legion and the Minnesota Superheroes so I can only imagine that this could be a real unique and fun event for all. As I have mentioned, we are still in the planning stages for this event but we have the date locked in so I wanted to put this out there so people can keep this in mind as a trooping event and can make plans to attend (fingers crossed). All are welcome...if you are in the mid-west area that is and can make the trip and please, chime in here with thoughts and comments, I would love to hear some feedback. Cheers! ~Kevin
