  1. I don’t use a tote to move my armor around...I use a backpack type travel carry case for a car seat. You can Google pics. Very mobile, comfortable and inexpensive. Just an option.
  2. There is someone over on the RPF who is going to be doing a 3D printed Iron Man suit...it just as well could be stormtrooper armor.
  3. First choice would be ABS glossy white, I would prefer to not have to paint it up...it would just stand out against the glossy ABS armor. Let me know if you can help...thank you. Cheers!
  4. Hey all, I am still in need of the ammo piece for the right thigh armor...help please!! THX!
  5. I imagine that you put your boots on after the shins go on?
  6. I guess I have gone in a completely different direction...I use snaps on my outside and inside ankles (the elastic webbing of the boot to be exact) and of course snaps on the inside of the shin armor to match up with the ankle snaps. Problem solved, I have never had issue since. Even when going up and down stairs my shin armor stays just where they need to be...no more riding up on top of my boots. Hope this helps. Cheers! ~Kevin
  7. A continuity issue with blending this scene with the control room scene...two stunts go into the Falcon and two heroes come out. LOL
  8. Just to add an observation that I have had looking at many different type of boots used outside of the original is that the boots seem to look as though they have a steel toe. And you can see what I am talking about in the above illustration, is this something that is just accepted today? Or perhaps something that is too much to in effort or process to match? I know attention is given to the shape and texture of the webbing used but how about the shape of the toe? Just my two cents. Cheers!
  9. Awesome job on the E11. I will have to post some pics once I get mine all dolled up. Cheers!
  10. Awesome! Thanks for the help. Cheers!
  11. Hello, Has anyone tried to do any mods on their Hyperfirm E11 to make it more screen accurate? Cheers!
  12. Great job!! Now don't trip over the furniture.
  13. Hello, I don't have an answer for you but instead a question...where can I get TM armor for myself? Cheers! ~Kevin
  14. Yep...those are the boots. The biggest thing for me is that they are super comfortable, no hot spots and they are high enough I don't have any issues with my shin armor riding on top of the boot. I knew going into it that I would have to change out the webbing but at least I don't have to paint the boot and the webbing. They are made with the idea that they are going to be on your feet for a good period of time which is why they are so comfortable...of course the 60 mile 3Day walk will be the true test for me.
  15. I have actually used hot glue with problems such as this and have had success. Just filled in and sanded, such as you have done already...something to keep in mind for a next time.
