  1. OK Rich I have taken your advise and TM (Pauls) I have adjusted the length from the shulder bells to the biceps and connected the forearms to them, just the way you have shown us in your video. I like the way this looks much better and thank you for pointing this out to me.
  2. I plan on seeing the Avengers on the 4th.
  3. Punching holes through the elastic can be done with the post of the snaps. Just apply a little pressure and stretch the elastic a bit and the post will make it's way through. As for the Velcro I would try an ice pick or a leather punch.
  4. I can't wait to see the finished results.
  5. Hey Tom how is your build coming. Its always good to see another ESB trooper in the works.
  6. You should try making the holster its pretty easy. I followed a tutorial I found here on the FISD, and these prints. Spent $70 dollars on all the supplies but was able to make 5 holsters in all. Sold 2 of them to other forum users and broke even on it and helped out fellow troopers. It was also a great learning experience and I now have the confidence to many more leather projects down the line.
  7. Post pictures from all sides.
  8. Thats a good looking bucket. What armor are you going to use with it?
  9. It looks like your back plate needs to come up just a bit. You want no or minimal overlap from the back to the kidney for EIB. Otherwise your kit is looking great !
  10. I'm glad to see you are back on track.

  12. This is one of the cooler things I have seen on the forums. I can't wait for your tutorial.
  13. Wow that chest is huge !!! I know on the AM kit the shins should overlap in back, but if you have cut that off you will need a strip.
  14. Yes that is acceptable
  15. I like the stirrup idea. I will have to remember this.
  16. I think the forearms and biceps should be closer. I just got called out on the same issue with my RT armor last week. Still impressive
  17. Wow I wish you could have showed us the build process.
  18. I have found out from experience the cod/ ab elastic works great. I had some issue with the snaps popping at first every time I bent over, so I lengthened them up by a 1/2" and have not had a problem since.
  19. I was about to ask the same question.
  20. I had to find some small washers to put in to the male snaps to keep the rivet head from slipping through the snap. I used the same technique on my plastic snap plates too. The technique is very easy and may be a bit faster then having to hammer your snaps in place.
  21. Thanks for all the advice guys, I will get back to work on this tonight.
  22. Be ready to spend about a $1000 for everything.
  23. Good to see another ESB trooper, and great looking armor as well.
  24. Should Have My TK ID In A Day Or Two Thanks for the support Jim, and thanks for nit picking my armor Travis, and Eric. I am taking everyone's advice, and making adjustments tonight. I dropped my cod piece down about an inch tonight which brings up the torso a bit. I took Darth Alohas advice and lengthened up my chest to back straps and this brought the chest and back down a bit. I did a quick test fit in just my boxers (sorry no pictures) and was happy with the results. An unforeseen side effect of bringing the torso up was that it closed in my side gaps just a little. The only possible strapping I have left is attaching the back to the kidney, or running a strap from my chest to my back under my armpits to keep the chest and back pieces in place better. Once I am satisfied with that I will order some electronics and after a few troops I may close in the thighs some. As for my TK ID I received this message from my GML today. You should receive an email from the main legion server in the next day or two with your ID#. Congratulations!
