  5. looking pretty good in my opinion....keep up the good work.
  6. man that is nice........
  7. Looking good man.....ill be looking forward to the rest of you build..
  8. using the paint can method then drawing a stencil line worked out really well for me... thanks for the tip Mathias..
  9. agreed... that's why i wanted to redo them... the more wobbly the lines are, i think i looks more accurate..
  10. Your bucket was assembled by Rob&Si right? if so, i would leave them be... i used stencils on mine, and I wasn't really really happy with how it turned out and thinking of changing it. in my opinion, i think the strips in your tear looks a lot better thank mine.
  11. yeah, i glued my snap plates with e6000, didnt use anything to cover the metal...and luckily everything is still fine..
  12. it looks like its going to be a very merry Christmas.....love the armor being near the Christmas tree
  13. Hi Brian, congratulation on your armor.... Wes is right, its always good to have a lot of different tools. clamps and rare earth magnets will always help make the job easier. I like using both the exacto and the cutter, as the cutter will have more firm grip to it. At times i also like to use heavy duty scissors also. Another tool that good to have is a rotary tool, but you must be really be very careful with this tool, its not as forgiving as any other cutting tool. Good luck on the build mate, you're gonna have tons of fun building it.. post pictures and ask questions when in doubt, the people here at FISD have helped me so much, and will be more than happy to help you. ill be looking forward to your build
  14. other than the things already pointed out by Wes & Craig, i think it looks good, the armor fits you well.. you could also trim the edges of the cover strip so it doesn't have a 90 degree angle. The picture Craig posted is a great reference guide. You could nudge the thigh ammo back up to cover up the corrosion. so you said you used abs glue/abs cement to put it together, how hard was it to pry it open and what tools did you use ?
  15. Armor is looking good Samanta, one thing i can comment is you might want to move the rivet on the thigh ammo to the top corner and paint it white... its going to look more accurate and much better..
  16. looks awesome dude...Congratulations on the armor. looking forward to seeing your build.. good luck mate, you got some happy times ahead of you..
  17. Man your armor looks awesome..... Youve done a great job on it. Just little things i want to point out, i think the male snap on your left ab plate should not be painted white, as well as the split rivet on your crotch, leave them the color they actually are. But over all, there should be nothing stopping you from getting approved...your very close to EIB... Good luck brother....
  18. That's awesome Phil, thanks for sharing mate....
  19. Congratulations on your EIB mate....
  20. Looking good....
  21. Awesome bucket...
