Hi Guys, I'm tweaking my armor here and there, i decided to redo the assembly of the armor because the old owner assembled it as is and i would like to do it the right way. In that case, it left me with a few holes in the armor. For example, the thigh ammo was attached to high, so i had to lower it a left 4 holes on thigh armor. and the sniper knee plate was attached via rivets and i wanted to attach it with glue, i could trim the knee plate, but it would still leave a visible hole on the shin armor. i know that you can make your own ABS paste using some scrap ABS and some acetone, but are there any other tips on filling these holes? and my main concern is, is it going to be a problem for EIB if i left these holes the way they are? or do i have to fill them to be approved. getting new parts of the armor probably would seem the best way, but it seems that i dont have that choice right now, so i hope someone could chime in, and help out on what i should do... Many thanks guys....

Thanks Mathias, for the lines in the tears, i used a stencil. so i guess that's why they appear like decals, perhaps i should have just freehand the whole thing. The left ear should be an easy fix, and i completely forgot about painting the last tooth, so thank you for pointing that out for me. Ill get to it soon and post more pics. btw, i will be submitting my EIB soon, so i hope you could point me in the right direction for that as well, Thanks again -

Hi Charles, thanks for the input. The shin should be an easy fix, all i have to do is switch the velcro to the other side so it should open to the right direction. As for my height, im really short for a stormtrooper, im about 5'7. I was thinking of trimming the chest plate, but not sure which to trim, the top or the bottom.... Thanks for the holster tip, ill contact Vern soon... -

Hi Troopers, This would be my second test fit after almost a year of putting this project on hold. But now i have plenty of time to finish it. Its not 100% complete as you can see in the pictures. Im still looking for a holster, and i have a hyperfirm e11 coming my way from Lewis. As you can see the boots are huge for me so i have to look for those too. I think the main issue i have with the armor is that the chest plate is riding too low, so im still working on how to fix that. I am hoping to get approved soon and submitting for EIB as well, so i hope you guys could help me comment and tell me what things i need to fix to get there. Another problem is the three little squares on the belt, when i got the armor it only came with two, and for EIB i understand that you need all three, so if any of you guys out there has an extra, i would gladly pay for it.... Im open to comments and suggestions, so keep them coming..Thanks Hers a close up And here's one just for fun, even troopers need time to relax right...

Dude that looks awesome.... Well done Joey. So did you primer first then painted it? or did you hit it with paint right away. Again...The helmet looks incredible.... -

i was battling with myself over the eyes as well. I didn't want to take out that much so that if one day i wanted to trim it more, i could still do it. Thanks for the Input Wayne, believe it or not, I've been following your build thread really close for my this build. So i thank you for that. -
looks awesome..ill be following this closely...

Thank you Stuart for the kind words, I'm pretty surprised myself, since this is only the 2nd kit I've worked on, but I'm really happy with how things turned out. Thanks to all you guys WIP threads. Honestly have helped a lot. I highly suggest this kit, saying it once is not enough, RS props makes amazing kit. I dont think ill be doing to much weathering, probably just a few little chips here and there. I guess ill try the primer first technique. Thanks again mate.. -

Hey All, This is what I've gotten done so far with this awesome kit, tweaked here and there, pretty much ready for paint. But I'm still confused on painting, wondering if primer will help the paint stick to the plastic. I kinda of want that chipped helmet look for this lid, but still not sure on how to make that effect, more research for me to do.....anyways, here are some of the progress pics...Enjoy. -

Thanks Jim, i actually have a lot more to do before getting to that painting process....as for the pictures, i tried using the image button and still doesn't work. this message came out "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." so I'm not sure either. Thanks again man. I'll post more progress pics soon.
