  1. FINALLY!!!!!! after how many years now? I've actually had the honor of wearing this armor, cant get more accurate than this... Obviously up to centurion standards...
  2. Wow.... thanks Paul, that means a lot coming from the master himself. Looks like i will still be needing a few more parts to complete this replica. You do learn something new here everyday...
  3. The only thing you find in Joey's closet are TK armors.....
  4. Thanks for the awesome feedback guys..... Yup, i mentioned this on the very first post. I am in the process of getting that extra left forearm and that blaster that i still need...
  5. So it seems that I've neglected this thread for way too long. Its time for an update. The Luke suit is done, and I'm ready to show it to you guys. I've acquired all the necessary parts to make the replica including grappling hook box with all the little greeblies, comlink, accurate painted boots, and Veedox's Hero neckseal. The only thing there is to complete it is Luke's E-11 blaster.... So here it is, enjoy...... let me know what you guys think.. And....... the head tilt pose... Cheers...... TK 50105
  6. That's brilliant!!!!! Thanks for the tip Dan, cant wait to see a full armor to go with that stunning lid. Cheers..
  7. My goodness that's beautiful!!!! might i ask what technique you used for weathering.... my helmet started chipping naturally but the white paint itself is still so clean and i wanted a more used look, how did you do yours? Well done mate, that thing looks spot on..
  8. This is awesome!!!.... Thanks for sharing..
  9. That's very true mate...... I dont think my skills are up that high yet to replicate a helmet that is so unique and so iconic.. Yeah...i have a thing for helmets...lol
  10. Thanks again for the kind words guys..... All is possible because of the great people here on FISD.. Damn Germain...... You have crazy keen eyes...the reason that tube stripe looks different, is because i put it on the wrong side. I waiting for some new stencils so i shall fix that soon. As you can see on Luke's helmet, it has the same number of stripes....but distance between them are different, the tube stripes on left cheek (as we wear the helmet) is suppose to be shorter than the right side, as where you can see mine is longer on the left....but that is also the effect of the ear positioning.
  11. Let me know what you got mate.... I might be interested
  12. yes i will... i will try my best to replicate Luke's armor..
  13. you can contact him on ctn, he's more active over there.. but ill pm you some details..
  14. Still waiting on that EIB application of yours :explodingemotie: hahahahah
  15. Yes Sir, just need the box, switch, and terry clip to complete it..
  16. And a few other extra parts came in over the week to complete this build... Karin's awesome authentic handguards, Evo3's Grappling hook and comlink, also bought individual parts to make another comlink, which is from the Veron Hawkeye model plane cylinder part to go with Marks hovi. But the problem with this is that the hovi seems a bit too small for the cylinder.. all that is still needed is a grappling hook box from Paul, and should be good to go... ( No rush Paul Sir, hope you get well soon). Well that's pretty much what i have up to this point, will update with pics as progresses.... Thanks again folks.. Cheers.. Reza
  17. Here's a few snapshots of my first test fitting I may need to start practicing my head tilt...
  18. Thanks guys, appreciate the advice and kind words... And as it turns out, as usual, I am very bad at taking detailed progress pics and posting them. I've worked on the armor to the point where is about 90% finished. Here are a few snaps.... detailed parts: trimmed about 1" off the chest and back plate overtrimmed the top left thigh like Luke's
