  1. Way to go everyone! It was truly an honor to be a part of the build team, as well as being there in armor to present it to her. It was awesome to see the smile on little Katie's face get bigger and bigger as the armor went on piece by piece. Actually, it was hard to tell who had the bigger smiles, Katie, or all of us there sharing in her first suiting up
  2. See you guys in the morning! Cant wait to assemble this armor for Katie. I was there for the book signing event ( ahem, playing the part of Rebel Scum X-wing Pilot that night ) and met Katie and her Mom. What an awesome little girl and family. Here's a link to the story behind Katie's choice for a Stromtrooper http://www.chicagonow.com/portrait-of-an-adoption/2012/10/halloween-and-the-adopted-child-a-costume-is-more-than-it-appears/

  6. Thanks for the info, Im definatly in the market for some of these, and nice to know the size differential. And I will now stop crying about working outside in 0 degrees...if your walking to work in -28...you really need a set of TS armor, or catch a ride on an AT-AT :atatpilot:
  7. And an extra ab button Great captures Corey
  8. Great find...plan on being my next build as well :snowtrooper: Hope I can have some of your luck
  9. I've actually been using a few different glues on mine, E-6000, loctite epoxy for plastic, and CA zap a gap. I bonded my pistol grip with E-6000, and then after the 24 hour cure time, i used CA Zap-A-Gap (medium thickness) and basically filled the gap between the edges of pistol grip and the body. I also did this method for the stock as well. I have yet to have had a problem with mine.
  10. Hey all, just a quick question, may have been posted some where, but after going thru a ton of E-11 builds, i'm still at a loss. When attaching the scope rail to your resin E-11, how does one secure the front of the rail? I've seen that everyone uses a screw to attach the back of the rail thru the rear sight, but how do you attach the front? I see that a hole is made in the spot of blaster where rail goes, and rail has a notched end, bent at a 90 degree, and inserted in the hole. But is just presure against the front rail holding it in place, or is it glued, or is it something else? Thanks for insight, and sorry if this has been detailed somewhere else.
