  1. Saw those pictures on FB and just scrolled on, without thinking much about it, as I genuinely thought this was just a weird looking motorcycle helmet... I'm actually dissapointed about theese...
  2. The correct pair, would be kindof a crossover between normal TK botts and Clone boots. Gino (Crow 62) makes them. Or you make some yourself. The un correct, or Fem shoes, are the ones with a very high heel. These are only seen on the GG statue, to help bring out the feminine part of the femtrooper statue.
  3. I accidentally posted this pic over at Jasons femtrooper thread(There are so many right now!!), trying to figure out how to align the ab/kidney and if I should cut the butt plate some more. Kev gave this answer in the other thread So here is how I will align the pieces(With the buttplate on the outside ofcourse )
  4. Thanks Kev And I just realized I didnt post this in my own build thread. Sorry Jason. Hope this at least can help you too
  5. Cant decide if the but plate needs some rounding off at the front edge, or not. Input??
  6. I have used those a lot too And if you end up using the gutter glue, be carefull how much you use. If you use too much, it will warp the plastic. I was carefull, but still had a little misshap, but its getting fixed, as I'm going for seamless and will fill and paint the kit anyway
  7. Its for gluing plastic gutters. Guess there are a million different brands. Mine is called RODENA and is for gluing PVC/ABS. Whatever you end up finding, just do a test on some scraps, before using it on your armor
  8. Thanks Jen She is really looking forward to try this out on a troop. Even though it wont be official, since its not accepted by the 501st yet. But I have used Gutter glue on her armor. It dries faster than E6000 and melts the parts together, for a strong bind. So I get the same, or better, bind as with CA glue, but have the advantage of adjustment time and not the disadvantage of 24 hour curing(Usually give it 12, just to be sure).
  9. FISD really hates me today. I was trying to post all of theese in a single post, but aparently it just froze up, whenever I tried uploading more than 3 pics at a time. So thats the reason for posting theese in multiple posts Dont blame me. Blame the forum
  10. And with my TM bucket on. Its not extremely horrible, but I'm really looking forward to getting Kev's bucket for this armor
  11. Sorry for the blurry "action pose" I didnt notice, until after we got her unsuited again
  12. So, we did a tape-up test fit today. I'm actually quite positive And we agreed its best to fill, sand and paint the seams, to make it look perfect Here is todays pics.
  13. So, I'm almost done assembling shins, thighs, biceps and forearms. Just need the glue to cure. I will be making a test fit on Mette tomorrow, to see if i need to trim anything else, and then its on to strapping...but... I have a decision to make about the seams on all these parts. Should I go through the trouble of filling, sanding and painting them, or just leave them as is?? What do you guys think?
  14. Had a bit trouble fitting Mette's forearms as well. I should be able to post pictures tomorrow, when the glue have cured.
  15. Nothing personal....I still hate you
  16. Btw, I led my wife try my TK helmet with this armor...it looks rediculous. Extreme bubblehead Looked something like this ----------
