  1. Did you make that backplate yourself??
  2. Some kind of word, other than "modifications" would certainly be nice to know!
  3. I'm in the same position witht he build. I intend to fill the seams and paint it all, so it would be nice to know what should be modified, before I start painting.
  4. Just do an Ebay/google search
  5. Monkey grip gloves, with some black glove liners works perfect
  6. I had the same question, and a few pages back, you will see Kev advised against cutting anymore of the butt plate. So just leave it as it is and let it overlap the torso on the outside
  7. Looks fantastic with that helmet!! And bzb, I can show you --------------
  8. And dont overdo it. The more ABS paste you use, the longer it will take to harden and you might risk doing more damage than good.
  9. Heard there was a problem with the back plate details. Have you heard anything about it to confirm or deny this?
  10. Its not 501st accepted...yet Might as well build it, as if it were accepted, so you can get it approved, when the time comes
  11. 1. Closed like clone armor with plastic tabs and a strap 2. Havent begun on the belt yet 2. He comes and goes sometimes. Give him some time and try writing him again in a week or two
  12. Comming along nicely Those arms are a pain. Had some trouble fitting them to my wife right, so they wouldnt look to big, but so she could still get her hand through.
  13. Did that sound wrong to you guys, or was it just a momentary lapse of reason from my side???
  14. My wife have already been dancing around in her armor, and it looks right. Will try and see if I can convince her I need to make a video of her dancing, so I can show you
  15. Interesting. Colour wise, it looks like the pictures we saw of the new Hasbro blaster, but way more accurate.
  16. Hehe, my wife complained about the test fittings quite a bit, but mostly because of all the "love" the sharp, roughly trimmed, edges the armor gave her
  17. I would say the same as on a regular TK. 3-5mm
  18. Dont know if it needs to be completely seamless or not, but I am doing the sludge, sand, paint on the wifes kit
  19. And speaking of the Vocoder on the helmet... ---------
  20. Well... back on topic... I heard there is a problem approving the Jes Gistang armor, because of the details on the back plate, as they should not look like the clone back plate, but the one in the comic. -------- But I believe this is easily fixed, by simply cutting the Squares and circle in a sheet of plastic, sticking it on top of another sheet of plastic and inserting it in the armor, like with Kev's Clonetroopers.
  21. I guess they are referring to this back plate I'm already thinking about a way to make this, as it should be farely easy to do, with two sheets of plastic. Simply cut out the squares on the first piece, glue it to the other, and insert them into the back armor, like on KW's clone troopers. Easy peasy
  22. You have noticed, that this thread, is in fact, a 17 page long research thread, right??
  23. Finally had time to testfit on Mette again. Have most of the straps put in as well now. Just need strapping for the shoulders, bells and biceps. And then I need to do the belt, but couldnt really get started on that, until I had Mette put on the whole shebang again Picture time!! Still need to trim a bit at the top of the right side of the chest plate, just under the shoulder strap. And here is how the belt pieces will connect to each other. My hope is that the ab/kidney, will stop their misalignement at the top, after the belt gets attached. Otherwise I will make a sliding tab on the inside, like on the chest/back connection. I am also still considering, if I should remove the part of the ab/kidney, showing behind the chest/back assembly.
