I accidentally posted this pic over at Jasons femtrooper thread(There are so many right now!!), trying to figure out how to align the ab/kidney and if I should cut the butt plate some more. Kev gave this answer in the other thread So here is how I will align the pieces(With the buttplate on the outside ofcourse )

Cant decide if the but plate needs some rounding off at the front edge, or not. Input??

I have used those a lot too And if you end up using the gutter glue, be carefull how much you use. If you use too much, it will warp the plastic. I was carefull, but still had a little misshap, but its getting fixed, as I'm going for seamless and will fill and paint the kit anyway

Its for gluing plastic gutters. Guess there are a million different brands. Mine is called RODENA and is for gluing PVC/ABS. Whatever you end up finding, just do a test on some scraps, before using it on your armor

Thanks Jen She is really looking forward to try this out on a troop. Even though it wont be official, since its not accepted by the 501st yet. But I have used Gutter glue on her armor. It dries faster than E6000 and melts the parts together, for a strong bind. So I get the same, or better, bind as with CA glue, but have the advantage of adjustment time and not the disadvantage of 24 hour curing(Usually give it 12, just to be sure).

So, we did a tape-up test fit today. I'm actually quite positive And we agreed its best to fill, sand and paint the seams, to make it look perfect Here is todays pics.

So, I'm almost done assembling shins, thighs, biceps and forearms. Just need the glue to cure. I will be making a test fit on Mette tomorrow, to see if i need to trim anything else, and then its on to strapping...but... I have a decision to make about the seams on all these parts. Should I go through the trouble of filling, sanding and painting them, or just leave them as is?? What do you guys think?

Had a bit trouble fitting Mette's forearms as well. I should be able to post pictures tomorrow, when the glue have cured.

This will be interesting. In Nordic Garrison, we have a strict, no buckets off rule, wich I generally like, because you dont really see troopers take of their helmets. But I started a debate on our boards regarding the Legacy face characters and it seems like they dont accept it, without a helmet, as Jes Gistang and the other LTK's may be face characters, but they are still stormtroopers and should wear a helmet at all times. I would like to see the LTK's wear helmets, when "on duty" on parades and patrols, but otherwise, I think theese characters, especially Gistang, shouldnt wear a helmet, when in the Photostand or just hanging around, since that is how people know this character. But lets see what the future CRL will say about this. If the helmet becomes optional, there really isnt much they can do to stop people from trooping Gistang without it. Unless they want to go against the CRL.
