Sad to see your TK kit going so soon after all you put into it its a great kit and if I could afford it I'd be after it! At least you've got some troops under your belt - my armour has been in a perpetual state of almost-finished all year thanks to Uni and I've just not had the time or the tools or the money. I do hope things pick up for you - I'm sure you'll get another costume sorted and be back into it in no time

One thing that bugs me about the rubies tk is the calves - they always look huge and "baggy". I imagine they can be trimmed down to fit better?

Nice! Great to see you armoured up at last The only thing I'd suggest is getting the chest plate higher - you're the same height as me, I think, and mine was really low to start out with too. A little trimming and readjustment and you'll look great I have the same cod piece problem I haven't figured out a solution yet. If I walk around in it I get major thigh bruises. If you figure it out, let me know

I never got dragged into the mainstream and "cool" things when I was growing up. Generally, I didn't like them so I didn't pay attention to them. It didn't make me lots of friends, but I didn't want to be friends with people who judge others like that anyway. The friends I made are real friends and close friends, awesome people with real passion for life and their hobbies.

Thanks Noel And Neil, I haven't finished mine 100% either - I have the vocoder to repaint since the cat-hair-all-over-it incident and some black lines to paint over the rear vent decals. And then some better padding for the inside

Actually, mine got a little bit wobbly too. It seemed like it was coming loose around the seam below the teeth. It might have been because I'd pick it up by the chin area so I started being more careful with it.

I can sit down fine. The chest rides up and the thighs dig in but it's nothing a little adjusting can't fix and it's not that uncomfortable. This is with the cod/butt cut

I have one of their FX kits, £180 back when they had a ton of them up for auction a few months ago. This was before I knew there was much better available, but saying that, I wouldn't have been able to afford a better kit anyway It arrived within a few days (not sure how long it took exactly cause I was on holiday at the time) and I don't have any complaints about the quality. They answered my emails promptly and seem decent enough in that regard My friend also bought his FX kit from them, I think he had to wait a week or two to get his because they were on holiday, but he did get it.
