  1. Thats awesome news Thanks very much everyone
  2. As far as Im concrened if I have the funds I'll gladly donate as much as I can. This place has been an invaluable resource to myself and so many others that giving something back to keep things ticking is a no brainer !
  3. Here are some new pics, decal free .
  4. Thats one of the best ive seen, and the gloves are fantastic !
  5. I used a piece of foam on the top and a couple of squares covering the earscrews just to stop it bobbling about. different things will work for different folks though so it may be best just to experiment. It took a few tries before i found something that worked for me
  6. Great looking lid, the color looks spot on too
  7. Ok thanks for clearing that up Mathias
  8. The armor fits you really well as is, its just gonna be the icing on the cake once you finish your mods
  9. Thanks for the kind comments I wasnt sure about the decal myself, the UKG decal is accepted for trooping but Im not sure about FISD clearance.
  10. Yeah I keep getting a ton of debug info every so often
  11. Thanks Derek , as far as i know its fine to use decals as long as the detailing on them has the hand painted look
  12. what can i say ? its gorgeous! I cant believe how much detail they've picked up with their pulls. Great work so far, this is gonna be one heck of a lid

  14. Im kicking myself now for not making a bunch when I had access to the model making workshop in college. There are ways of replicating the vacformed look with minimal tools without having access to a vac machine but it takes some time to do.
  15. Im guessing they modified the molds to make it appear closer to ANH Edit: sorry i was replying to a previous post, looks like it was already answered
  16. I used the decals too on my AP mostly out of fear of messing it up since it was my first TK build. Im planning on hand painting my next one though ! I gotta agree about your products Karin, your handplates are phenomenal
  17. My god is that gorgeous I know where my next kit is coming from! Excellent work Reza As for primer thats a tricky one, the oily nature of the plastic means you'll struggle to get much that will adhere completely. god knows I've tried ! It depends how much weathering you plan on doing though if you just want a few subtle chips here and there then it may be best to prime. Otherwise I would just go for it with the main color.
  18. Here you go ----------
  19. Hehe gotta love em
  20. Sounds like a plan, I'll do that then
