Has anyone ever jumped in a pool wearing armor?
jkno replied to geronika's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
When you are done, you need to do this: ----------- -
I watch everything that is sci-fi, not just SW.

Different versions of E-11 Blasters/scopes for ANH Stunt?
jkno replied to challenge64's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
Something you might like to read regarding the scopes - had the same question regarding M-40 (1942 and 1943) and pics with them in SW: http://www.therpf.co...44/#post2601398 -
Can't wait to see more cylinders ready. BTW I think I know about the other prop you are making together with a friend of mine, really nice.

The creation of the E-11 blaster rifle
jkno replied to Jehudah Design's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Seen this some time ago, really FANTASTIC work. I have a real converted Sterling plus a Master Replicas E-11 but I would have been honored to own this as well. Excellent job! -
Congrats! A real Sterling is the closest thing to owning a screen used prop
-
Excellent! This blaster simply ROCKS!

DVH E-11 blaster kit project
jkno replied to Darth Voorhees's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Congrats on the Sterling parts. Though every time I see a Sterling chopped like that it feels so sad. -
As Mathis said this is just a preliminary discussion, and I'm sure that when Andy decides over a final price for the cylinders, he will make a For Sale thread in the proper section of the forum. Then if he doesn't obey the forum rules, his topic/thread can be ammended by mods even at members' requests. Until then I'd say let's enjoy this thread by friendly discussions over these great cylinders, and let's hope Andy has enough time to make them for all of us. Because if we want accurate cylinders these seem to be the best out there.

Look at eFX Collectibles, some paid a big $$$ deposit almost 2 years ago and then close to no communication for this period regarding the collectible people are waiting for. As for bad sellers I encountered these as well, some that were old members on various forums and then gone bad. Not sure why so many IFs, besides that some people here voluntarily declared they would pay deposit - it was not Andy asking for it. Don't understand why you care what I do with my money, because I really doubt you care about my budget. And indeed you don't seem to be on the list. Is this about another issue in this thread you don't like? Not accusing of anything, just curious. Because I don't see mods/admins jumping in and taking the wheel.

To be honest I would pay the entire amount right now, even if there are some members above me on the list, and the cylinders are not ready to be shipped yet. The moment Andy tells me the total I'll pay him, so I don't mind if we talk about a deposit or full sum, this is about my respect for his excellent work. And indeed THANK YOU Andy for taking your time and research and making these for us!

Totally agree with paying a deposit, especially people who are already on the list. IIRC I'm 4th or 5th on the list, and I would pay by paypal the deposit or even the entire amount of money as soon as Andy tells me how much and where to send it

Electronics on the blaster will look great. Can't wait to see the finished product!!

I have Marv's t-tracks too and they are great. On RPF seems Gino also makes some, but they are fan made and quite expensive. I prefer the Marv versions any day, being also made in the same country as the originals.

Great newsletter! Excellent work guys!!

Can't wait for mine, the display case is so cool I might keep them there when not on the blaster. Will you use rare earth magnets or screws please? I prefer magnets for mine if possible

So any ideas of how many might exist?

I have one myself as well , and I prefer to keep it inside on display, also as per request of the Department of weapons and ammunition officer here.
