I really like what I've seen armor wise that has been leaked so far. hard to tell what we will get at this point though, as the helmets we have seen in the past do not look like the ones here. I'm glad to see the Sterling and the use of pauldrons and drop leg items though I can't wait until we finally see a photo of a full set of armor not from concept art.

Very interesting find. Shame we don't have a lot of reference of this. I do love the SE-14R and the idea that we are still finding things to tweak is fun. Also I find it interesting it is holstered backwards like some sort of cavalry pistol.

Looking great so far. I'm jealous you got your hands on an M19!

Did a little work on my blaster, and finally mounted the counter. She is almost EIB ready.

I'll try to get some more detailed shots. The rails are actually something I picked up from a local hardware store. They fit the bill rather well and I mainly went with them because they were metal and would last longer than rubber or resin.

I've had this demill for a little bit now as I slowly got my TK project up and running. I've managed to get an actual M38 (1943) and an actual Hengstler (sadly not an eagle). I'm hoping I can get some metal power cylinders. I like the setup she is in now, but I'm hoping to go Centurian sometime so with current standards I'll have to get my counter mounted and find some nice power cylinders. I know he T rails aren't quite right, but I really like the fact they are metal instead of plastic, resin, or rubber. Anyways here are some shots of

No that's fine, but trying to get something to stay grey. Painting those vinyl boots seems like a pain and something that would have to be redone a lot. I don't know how well the boots would take a few layers of grey paint.

Boots are stumping me. Bass boots look pretty close, but they're black so I don't think you can dye them gray. Glad to see some good research put into these I want one done by next SWW.

Actually that right there looks like a Hasbro E-11. While not entirely screen accurate after mods you can mod them up a bit with resin parts to look more like our venerable blaster. Plenty of info here on how to do so. The most common kit I know of is the DoopyDoo's kit which adds the stock and a few other finishing touches.

I would if I could but even with the old Star Tours the Disney guys were intent on not letting people use cameras. They're always watching, also you get like a50% chance to see the Skytroopers.

Awesome I'm reading through that now. Good to see plenty of research going into this not much elsewhere. I was hoping this detachment would take this costume as opposed to others. Now I just need to figure out how to do it. Seems like a bit of a mismatch in parts.

I've been wanting to do one of these since I saw the New Star Tours info. I keep riding Star Tours in hopes of getting some more observations on these guys. Got to love Star Wars Weekends. I'll be back this weekend and will try to keep an eye out for specific details like the sniper plate. Hard though as you only see them for like 30 seconds.

Nice looking box, thanks for the link but that isn't what I meant. I was talking about if the Skytrooper was ANH, ESB, or ROTJ on certain parts. I can't tell what those handguards are and I've heard all three suggested in a few threads.

This is great thanks. I've been trying to compile some images as reference. I'm planning on doing this next. Now I'm not entirely familiar with the difference between our sets of armor yet, would anyone care to do a breakdown?

That definitely looks like our weird blaster. Nice work Paul. John yours looks quite similar too.

If you look at his buddy to our left he's still missing his ab button plate too and his bicep is eating his shoulder. I imagine this was taken sometime after filming in Tunisia jusdging by the dirty armor. The blaster to our right is quite block like and a flash hider is viewable so that may mean it still has its barrel unlike the Rexim Favor's so I'm thinking this is based off of some smg. It also appears to have a wire similar if not identical to the one used on the Power Five if I recall correctly. Here's a quick examination I did. Anyone else spot anything? -----------

Not sure if this is old news to everyone else but looking through some promo shots a blaster stuck out to me. Now I'm a big fan of the SE-14R and have built a few myself, but this is something totally different. Anyone got an idea what we are looking at here? also check out those sandy kneeplates!
