Darth Hilarious

I actually bought a kit of this stuff (wish I'd gotten ATA instead). It seems to be recast FX. The seller is not the maker. He's in Australia, but the armour is shipped directly from England. The picture is for example purpose only. The really fraudulent bit is where he claims it is '501st approved'. PS. The assembly instructions are a barrel of laughs- they actually tell you to attach the armour to the undersuit, using the provided velcro!

Is it just me, or does that texture pic contain the shoulder pauldron (top right) and ammo pouches (bottom right) ? Also, just for courtesy, here's a couple of (trimmed) hi-def BFII screens from PC. They might be a little clearer than PS2 screencaps (and I think the pack is the same).

Negative on treckfreek and starfortress being the same person. Treckfreek says he can't get Stormtrooper boots, and starfortress stocks them. Not that it makes much difference if they're both bad sellers...

I've got one of these kits on its way to me... (don't drink and Ebay) Being immune to buyer's regret, I'm figuring it'll be a good learning ground to get myself started. I'll probably get another set (maybe ATA) later and convet this one to some kind of EU trooper. Is there anyone here who's bought this paticular kit and can tell me anything about it?

I'm only a noob here myself, but I think this guy might be dodgy. I asked him about his armour, and he said it was TE2 derived. That would imply a recast, wouldn't it?
