  1. Has anyone noticed anything different/weird since last night with forum performance? -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I may be fiddling with the web server tonight EDT trying to improve the performance even more. If you notice a blip or two... that's all me. -Eric
  3. Whew. What’s also nice about the new server is that the legion web team have pretty good monitoring on memory, CPU. database connections etc.... If we find that we are outgrowing the server we can add resources on the fly. Or the next time there is a racing shirt run or some sort of (more) plastic spaceman drama erupts and the forum gets really busy -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yep. It looks like they fixed it. I left the trouble ticket open just in case things go south again. -Eric
  5. I've had some back and forth with support... but I made the dumb mistake of not making the ticket as "site down" I think. That means they're being kinda slow about it. For those that care... the problem is in how we display forum URLs. I don't know how it got F'd during the upgrade but it is indeed F'd up... .and I don't know how to fix it. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. Thanks for your continued patience. -Eric
  6. I couldn't figure it out. I put in a trouble ticket with the forums software support folks. Liking posts seems to work again I think. -Eric
  7. Oh yeah. That wasn’t working too. We disabled it until we can figure out how we broke it. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey Folks. We’re aware of the problem where people can’t click on a forum from the main page. I’ll be working on it later this afternoon/eve EDT. Thanks for your patience. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is our way of telling you you're fired. It's like coming to work one day to find your key card doesn't work. -Eric
  10. Yeah. That's fascinating. I'll poke around later today. -Eric
  11. Ok. That was painful. The forum now resides on a new and better web server. I suspect you'll some performance improvement right away. If you experience something weird, diffusely bad, or an error. Please post here in this thread. Be sure to copy and paste or screen capture any error messages with the description of the problem. Tapatalk isn't working yet but we'll get to that in the next day. Thank you all for your patience. -Eric and Mathias
  12. Folks, We are moving the FISD web server to a faster and non shared server tomorrow. Starting around 1 AM EDT (0500 GMT) on Wednesday August 15 the forum will be inaccessible for about 24 hours. Thank you for your patience, -Eric
  13. Testing images. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Tapatalk should be working again. -Eric
  15. Please don't send the funds to me directly. Paul will be along shortly to give you guys another paypal address. Thanks, -Eric
  16. Here's the new URL: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_rebels It will show up in the FISD list as soon as the main page sync with the back end. -Eric
  17. Nerds, Toddo and I took a quick look tonight and we think this looks good to go. Because LMOs can't just green light a CRL without changing something, I made two edits. For the neckseal entry it wasn't clear that the balaclava was allowed in lieu of a neckseal. I changed it to: A black balaclava may be worn to conceal the wearer's neck instead of a neackseal. The other thing I did was made the blaster wording consistent with ESB, ANH and ROTJ E-11s. Which says this for L1: Based on a real or replica Sterling sub-machine gun, scratch-built, or a modified commercial toy Stormtrooper blaster. I'll add it to the member database shortly and drop a note to Eric M's GML that he can be approved without delay. Nicely done TKs. -Eric
  18. Hiiiiii! A few questions... comments... etc.. Is is true that all Rebels TK have some sort of grey weathering on them as seen on screen? I'm assuming this is sort of clone-ish dirt you're talking a out? The word "seamless" is confusing on parts that clearly have a seam line. Forearms wording: Armor is seamless with no indication of joining method. I don't know what/where a vertical indent is after looking at the photo: Vertical indent on exterior of bicep is colored gray. When it comes to requiring a very specific number of indents on the shoulder bridges, forearms and belt etc, please bear in mind that someone skinnier or bigger may need to modify the armor to fit them. If you allow an ANH E-11 for ROTJ and ESB, why not for the rebels TK too? Those are my first thoughts. -Eric
  19. No! Now you have to wear both pauldrons at the same time For realz though. As with any CRL change you're grandfathered in. It only effects new approvals. The FX helmet is the same way where if you've had an FX kit since the dawn of the legion you're still welcome to troop with it. Send anyone who says otherwise to me -Eric
  20. Ok. I drafted the email already and I'm happy to send it. -Eric
  21. Hi. If you're ok with it I am happy to send an email to your GML instructing him/her to approve you since your costume was complete after the CRL change. -Eric
  22. Have you started your build yet? Or rather did you start it before the CRL change went into effect two days ago? The changes have been made already. Orange only and two hip pouches plus a shoulder pouch as seen in the game -Eric
  23. The bicycle handlebar mount would do it well enough no? -Eric
