There are no finishing strips on the calves, they just overlap. As for the thighs, those are shims.... I'm a little big to be Stormtrooper.

I can't do anything with the thighs due to a motorcycle accident injury, trust me I've tried.

I've been on the new Star Tours. You see th eTroopers for a second at the very beginning, not sure how anyone would have that shot? I guess possibly the people who made the ride may have posted the pics?

I have done two builds so far, TK & RC, AND have used only E6000 on both. I haven't had any issues with either. When attaching snaps, I used snap plates and then glued those to the armor. E6000 holds up perfectly, and if you have to remove them for any reason they come right off without any left over residue.

After seeing the Centurion requirements, and the fact my armor no longer fits right due to losing 20 lbs, I have decided to do a Centurion build & PVC pipe build. I have seen the DoopyDos kit, but where do I find the build instrcutions for the pipe? Also I need some info on what size and how many holes are to be drilled. When I did my hasbro build, I used the existing holes to make a template for the new ones. I would appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thank you.

If it's ABS, I use motorcycle aerosol detailer. Namely: Honda Polish, it works great & removes Trooping marks, smudges, adhesives, etc

I've painted my Republic Commando using all Krylon products. Thje kit is black ABS, used Krylon auto primer, Fusion Black & White paints, & finished w/ Krylon satin clear coat. It has worked perfectly.I'm not a big fan of mixing companies, but I think the drying time is essential!

I'm looking forward to achieving this! Since I am/was a bigger trooper,PS Atkins works! I'm 20lbs smaller ! here are my pics with shims/rivets:
