  1. TK-7100 said he saw a white line in the middle of the grey unit marking on the top of the helmet dome, But anyway, it is looking incredible! Congrats!
  2. This is hilarious! Thanks for sharing
  3. The chipping looks fantastic, beautiful helmet!
  4. Looking good, but I'm afraid you painted the frown area too much. You should have painted only the teeth area which it's ANH. But you gave it some extra paint on the lip which it kinda looks like an ROTJ version lol.. but sorry to criticize so much, just giving tips on how to make your armor look great If the paint is still fresh, or drying up you can still remove it probably with a tooth pick.
  5. Just a reminder in case: The holes go on the left side, not the right
  6. I noticed the paint dries easily on a sunny day... so if you paint, make sure it's sunny! And make sure to use some sunglasses
  7. Yup, I forgot to add the hyperfirm part
  8. No it's some kind of foam? I'm not sure, but it feels like of rubberish. So it's not resin
  9. Hey there! I just wanna share some pictures with you guys of my new DLT-19 that arrived at the postal office this morning
  10. It's a ripoff, for these kind of items you should always avoid ebay I got my blaster at a walmart for 20 dollars! You should check out if your local walmart or toys r us has any available
  11. I think most people will agree if we just decide to use Clone handplates since it's almost the exact look.
  12. Looking great! Also, be sure you request 501st access!
  13. Thank you very much for the pics! It shows how dedicated FISD is with their costumes and making everyone of them look outstanding Now, with the armor, I say let's do it like it's done in TFU. It's a ROTJ armor with ANH helmet and handplates, BUT with the exception of the hand plates which they look super odd to me. I've never seen clone handplates, maybe I've seen them since a local trooper has a CC, but i've never really paid attention to the CT or CC's handplates. If anyone has any pictures of them please share them with us! About the weathering being optional, I don't think it should be optional. Troopers might look shiny new, but as the time passes battle leaves them scarred, dirty, scratched, etc. So making weathering a must for CENTURION, I'm up for that. But for EIB and 501st acceptance it should be optional. And yes, it looks like the blaster the trooper has it's either this one: http://images3.wikia.../bb/Dva0516.jpg or this one: http://images4.wikia...aster_Rifle.jpg both I think should be acceptable. BUT the price of them are an obvious challenge since the cost of them are dramatically different so it might be good for us to decide which blaster should be accepted and which one should be not. The action figure carries both of them but I'm not sure if we'll use the action figure as a reference or the one in star tours.
  14. Here's what I mean: next to the ears, appear to be some decals or maybe unit markings and the trap are has a black mark too PS: sorry it looks like crap, my editing skills suck
  15. Well, from what I can see, the ab plate button box is sitting like in ANH but with black buttons. The frown looks like it's ROTJ, and looks like the decals that usually go on the front of the dome are some black lines. (traps) And is it me or are the 'real' decals that go on the traps are on the faceplate? it looks like there is a black (possibly gray) square on each side of the faceplate just below the traps
  16. I believe they are white
  17. I forgot to take some pics, but I finished it today ANH VT and ESB ATA side by side I still need to add some minor details like the white paint on the ears screws and the black stripes on the bumps, but I'll do that later
  18. Eyes trimmed and starting to trim teeth References are OUR best friend Teeth fully cut out I'll start tomorrow with the cap n back and faceplate assembly, ears and then painting and decals. wish me luck
  19. These fans look big.. but trust me A lot more smaller than I expected. Overpriced and they're fragile. An accidental pull and one of the two will stop working. I really don't recommend them
  20. I'd say wait about 3 or 4 days. Or a week perhaps. Patience young one, or the paint will be ruined!
  21. I also went ahead and hand painted the mic tips with some black satin (didn't had any black spray left since i used it all on my e-11)
  22. I took time today and trimmed the excess plastic, and here's a little sneak peek of how it should look..
