I still don't think the weathering is right. It doesn't look natural. In reality how would the red parts be all beat up and the white parts be so clean?

Armor kit is here! It's late, so I won't have any time to work on it tonight. I plan on beginning trimming tomorrow.

Quick answer: I've never had an actual TK armor kit before. On previous attempts, I had boots, holsters, neck seals, even a couple Hyperfirm E-11s. Then "something" would come up and I'd sell those items off to fund other hobby interests. This time.... will be different!

Can't wait to see the kit in person tomorrow!

Hello all! I will be picking up my ABS ATA armor kit on Saturday. I will start to document my build as I go. This is my third attempt/start-up on a TK. My wife has stated, "You will finish this damn TK or I will kick your a$$!". Terrell has called me a dumba$$ for selling off my previous TK attempts. So no worries, I have plenty of people "encouraging" me and this time I must finish. I am planning EIB right from the get go, so I will have plenty of questions along the way. Feel free to harass me if progress or pics are coming too slowly!

Mine arrived today. The 10's fit me great and they feel comfortable right out of the box! Hmmm... Now I just need armor!

Got my tracking info last night. I should have my boots on the 21st! They will look awesome, once I actually have TK armor!

I wear a 10 - 10.5 narrow depending on the shoe. I'm going to order a 10 & 11 and see which fits better. I am sure I can sell off the extra. ETA: PayPal payment has been sent.

Got them today! Only took 9 days!

Even before these tragic events I played it safe. I always have my DC-15 (Clone blaster carbine) wrapped in a blanket or stored away (out of sight). It does get uncovered until I am in the changing area.
