  1. Oh and I'd like to give a shout out to ATA! ATA is awesome to deal with!
  2. Shin shots. Yes, crappy cellphone mirror pics, but you get to see some progress. The knee plate needs to be cleaned up and then I will get that glued on. Otherwise the shins are mainly done!
  3. Thank you Karin and Striker!

  4. Be careful painting on humid days. The paint picks up the moisture in the air and can really mess up a paint job! Better to wait for "ideal" painting conditions.
  5. Usually the paint you are using tells you the optimal temperature ranges. Read the can.
  6. You can set the brown height to what you like. If you notice in the movie, the brow height varies quite a bit.
  7. I used magnets to hold my helmet cap and faceplate together. That way I could try it on to see if it would fit.
  8. You sure can. Clones use this stuff all the time on their builds. The issue is that if any leaks or squeezes out. If you are painting anyways, then no problem. If you are not painting, then any leaked CA will be a pain to clean up. Even if none leaks out, sometimes the fumes from drying CA can cause spots to dull.
  9. What did you use for the skull inside? It looks awesome!
  10. Right ear installed. These things are a #!%@&!! to install! What do you think? I think a hair too fat and too high up, but not bad (for a first build). I should have the other ear on tonight.
  11. Oh and wear mechanics gloves. I lost skin on on both middle fingers from the magnets pinching the skin right off!
  12. Some progress: Shins have the front cover strips installed. I need to install the back strips. The forearms are glued together. They need the cover strips. I started on the helmet. I have the eyes trimmed out and started on the frown and have the face and cap connected the way I like. I stopped at the hobby shop yesterday and got the Testor's colors I need.
  13. You have to be careful in handling them. When they smack together, that is what is causing them to break.
  14. I took Friday off to work on my TK (or was that to recover from tonight....Hmmmm). I hope to get a bunch done! Will post my progress tomorrow evening!
  15. I should send you my kit to finish! LOL! You are quick!
  16. My clonetrooper thighs are attached with nylon strap. I've had that setup for (5) years and it's comfortable. I am going to do the same for my TK thighs.
