  2. The "stepping out" trooper is holding an E-11. Maybe you are confusing it with our mascot. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Just the shins. Thighs are 20mm both back and front.
  4. Yeah, 20 mm is 2 cm. Not 4. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. Hard to tell, but it might be recast from one of Shawn Morgan's blasters. But you can find his email somewhere in this section of the forum. He also has an account here (morganthirteen). If you buy from him you know you'll get the original.
  6. You could make small cuts into it to allow it to bend over itself a little easier. But don't overdo it and don't cut all the way through it, you want one continuous piece.
  7. That's normal and the trim usually overlap the ears a little.
  8. You're right, I missed the double negation. Apologies.
  9. Ahem.. This is an international forum, no matter what you think about that. If that doesn't suit you, you can go elsewhere.
  10. VarsÄgod! You could leave it as is and connect it back with snaps and elastic to let the cut act as the pivoting point. In case you're leaning forwards I'm guessing that's where the stress lies and why you cut it in the first place. I don't foresee that edge to be a problem using this method, but you can trim it if if you need to. But I recommend leaving it on at first to find out.
  11. It's also how the original helmets were put on.
  12. I see. Well in that case it might work out for you. I'm glad my tips worked out for you. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. Are you turning it 90 degrees first, and rotating it back once it's on?
  14. I think you probably cut the cod off prematurely and unwarranted.
  15. IMHO that's too specific to matter in the slightest. I can see how that might be irritating to those inclined towards meticulous detail, but everyone needs to realize that most of our measurements are mere approximations and that no two suits are identical.
  16. Congrats Eric! And thanks Tim. It is as you say, not everything was popular, but I think I did what was needed. Not every year needs to be like mine was, but I think once in a while a little housekeeping is in order. I'll stick around on the site and try to help out as much as I can or is wanted of me. But now I can put my feet up for a while at least.
  17. You can put the hole the rivet goes through at 10 mm in from the side.

    For kids?

Not for kids. It's 1/6th scale as noted in the description, so it's an "action figure". Or maybe you knew that already. It's not clear from your post.
  21. Judging by this picture, the kidney isn't the only part that needs work. But trimming the top bridges of the back and raise the whole back section (back, kidney and butt) up will help getting the feel for things. The sides of the chest and back, as well as the butt will also need a lot of material taken off. The top/collar of the backplate should sit where your shirt collar is. Something like this:
  22. Some stunt helmets had the last bump painted on one side, and the second to last one on the other side. But there was never a helmet in ANH with any other than the last or second to last bump painted, and only one bump painted on either side.
  23. Real name please.
  24. As in white and shiny?
