  1. I got my rubber gloves and non-latex hand guards from Karin today. Just finished gluing them to the gloves. And these sure are beautiful. Thanks Karin!
  2. Maybe I'm not reading you correctly, but the original shoes were black ones dyed/coloured white. So buying completely white ones are actually less accurate.
  3. Thanks! I'll do that! Good thing you ships so much extra abs for strips that I'll be able to redo it - even several times in case of screw up! Although it really isn't that hard of a build. I really don't understand how so many are afraid of butt joining pieces considering all the how-to:s we have here. I've built my kit in my bedroom.
  4. I'm about the same hight and weight as you, or 177 cm and 61 Kg. I've got a TM that fits me nicely with some padding. But I think I need to trim the thighs some more. AM is really big compared to most other armors. But as the others said, there are alternatives for us smaller people.
  5. This one shows what I need. Just seams that I already have about as much trimmed away as you do. Mine are still too big. But I guess the finishing strip will cover any weird looking curvature.
  6. That was fortunate! Good thing you get so much extra abs with the TM making new inner strips won't be an issue. Do you have a picture of the inside of your thigh? It'll help me visualize how much you had removed. I think we are about the same hight and build so this is about as close to how mine should look like as I can find!
  7. Yeah I did my thighs like that, but stopped where the back of the thighs curve. Had I gone further and trimmed more I'd gotten a "wall" and not the curve, as one part curves upward and the other downward to meet. If that makes any sense. Since I used abs-cement and quite a lot of it on the inner joining strips I imagine it to be a bit of a challenge removing those. But the outer strips are E-6000 so that will be easy.
  8. I think I need to do this too, but I can't really make out how much you took off by the later photos. Like this one: Do you have any build pics of that surgery?
  9. They can't sell to the US because of a lawsuit, so don't bother unless you want to order it to a friend and then have them send it to you.
  10. Beautiful! I keep coming back to your photos as reference for my own build.
  11. The CRL says 8 teeth in total for all but the ANH hero helmet which says 6 teeth in total. But that's all I can really say...
  12. Thanks! Right now the shoulder bells attach with velcro, but I'll replace that with a snap when I've found the best placement.
  13. Of course I had the bad luck of getting my memory card on the camera somehow erased today, but I have at least one good picture to show. I've been issued the standard issue Stormtrooperâ„¢ T-Shirt! All my parts except for the TD and are pretty much done. The belt, holster and TD are awaiting additional pieces. Some are already ordered. Like the TD belt clips and hand guards. I'm about 75% done with the strapping system. Initial test fitting with all "finished" gear. I'm holding my thighs up because i have no support belt for those yet.
  14. I think AP will do fine, just as the others have said earlier in the thread. I'm building a TM and I'm 5'7 and 120 lbs, and some parts might actually be a wee bit too big for me. Nothing major though, and not anything some padding on the inside can't solve. I'm pretty sure any of the TE-linage armours would fit you nicely. TM too for that matter.
  15. Hurray! Happy birthday Paul!
  16. Awesome! I loved black dynamite and this is just as good ( or better!)
  17. No the AM helmet is currently the same as the old FX one.
  18. I think most here would agree that your stuff is amazing work, and I'm glad you're not stopping completely, I'll soon order some gloves from you! I hope you feel better in the morning and find that joy of supporting the community again.
