  3. RS were moving to a new and larger studio during the holidays so I'm sure they were pretty swamped by that. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. Have you tried the sandtrooper forum at www.mepd.net maybe they know more? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  6. 3 minutes was too long of a wait so you just had to ask again?
  7. Good start so far! Using pencil lines like a pro, and keeping those teeth nice and square like they should be.
  8. How can this thread go on without a link to starwarshelmets? http://starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-comparisons.htm
  9. Oh, no I just missed that this was a FOTK thread. He is working on the armour though, and I'm sure he'll make XL shins for that one too.
  10. Or you can pay Troopermaster for some extra tall shins to replace them with.
  11. A lot of suits were indeed newly made for ESB, and looked more like ROTJ suits (we call them ESB mk2). But you only see one or two of them in the movie. All other suits seen are reused ANH armours (and helmets), with the hand guards replaced with a new model. http://www.starwarshelmets.com has an article detailing the ESB mk2.
  12. That's pretty common. So it works, yeah. What helmet did you have in mind?
  13. Most of them do.
  14. Hi Makerofthings as already mentioned isn't a good vendor due to the poor quality. You'll probably break it after only a few troops due to the brittle plastic used. It's better kept as a display piece. It's also recast from an ANH/ESB style armour and would not be suitable for making into a ROTJ style trooper.
  15. I mostly troop in my officer costume these days due to the comfort level is so much higher. And I get to boss around the troopers.
  16. I would much more prefer if someone made a better looking symmetric helmet. That might sound like an oxymoron, but I think it could be done. As long as it's not mirrored from the original wonkyness but keeping with the size and details of the original features.

  19. Buy two helmets? One for you and one for joining? I'm also guessing you have no interest in joining, so you don't have to bother with the rules of the club.
  20. Corsair Kids was recently in a big dispute for recasting ATA if I remember. I recommend staying with the people on this list who are proven to be trustworthy individuals: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  21. In some ways. But it severely lacks accuracy in other areas. So yes, we still bash it, but for other reasons.
  22. Actually, the only way people have been approved with rubies has been to turn them into ROTJ because of the moulded in ridge around the torso. So anything else is out of the question.
  23. That's a rubies, so you don't want to go for that. Lots and lots of work to get those approved.
