    Maybe we're using provenance too interchangable with linage. Point is, that RS is closer to the real deal than anything AA has made since 1976. If you go into our picture gallery you can find comparison pictures of AA armour next to screen used versions in the LFL archive side to side.

    There are better alternatives. Ask Thathelmetguy for example of a rubber gun. Better detail but heavier, still unbreakable rubber. Ships internationally. He hasn't been in the market as long, but you should be fine.

    No. But they cast an original ANH armour and helmet (except some minor missing pieces) and that's closer than any other fan-made kits have. Other screen-derived kits (including that which AA is selling) have links to a ROTJ suit and have been modified to look more like ANH. But only RS have cast an actual ANH suit.

    If you want provenance, buy RS. It doesn't get closer than that, and they are endorsed by Brian Muir himself.

    I guess you should use ANH, but it would be a lot of tweaks. It's quite a lot different from ROTJ. CFO and TM are the best alternatives for going the ROTJ route.

    Click the cog next to the search box in the upper right corner. Select members, and write the username you want to search for.

    Keep in mind that the ab plate has extra wide sides now, so you might not need shims at all.

    I think we should wait with speculations until people have the new AP kidney in hand. Right now people are just getting nervous for no reason.

    I wouldn't bother with the eFX one. The other once is decent, but the description doesn't say much about its origins.
