  1. I think the scope is a mash up of fabricated custom parts and not a single found item like the m38 or m19 scopes. IE you won't find it, you have to make it yourself.
  2. It's understandable. But what people don't realize it that what you write on the internet might be around for a long time, so they should take some time to get it right. Also, no problem. It was easy finding the info.
  3. At least you and I can blame it on not being native speakers. I cringe every time native american or brits (and aussies!) get basic grammar wrong.
  4. Yeah yeah. I'm mostly right though.
  5. It's from some guys in Arizona calling themselves ctmprops. Says they are 501st members. Also have recasted recast a TE2-linage suit and made some modifications to it.
  6. Awesome!
  7. No sign of any balaclava on Anthony Forrest either ---------
  8. Shin shin overlap facing the wrong way is the show stopper here, but I agree on points 1 and 2 as well that Tyler mentions. It'd make a great improvement on the overall look.
  9. Indeed. Brent did an amazing job on his hasbro, and it's one of the best hasbros I've ever seen. But that doesn't change the fact that it's based on a hasbro, which is not allowed for centurion.
  10. Nice! Sent from my GT-I9300
  11. 4 digit numbers are running out so I heard they stopped issuing new numbers until they are finished with the website changes to allow 5 digits. Your wife can still troop as long as her costume is approved. Sent from my GT-I9300
  12. That's how the originals were strapped in the crotch.
  13. Yeah, that works but is a bit overkill. You still want to use a washer on the inside though. Using a snap plate in there instead of using the existing screen accurate rivet is bulkier and a waste.
  14. First of all you might want to put some elastic on it and then a washer so you get your crotch strap. Then you can use anything you want to split the legs. I used the rod on a screwdriver and a pair of pliers on mine.
  15. Imperial crewman I'd say. Jumpsuit, cap, boots and some greblies. And you can use that most of the same parts to make other costumes like TIE pilot later on as well.
  16. There is a german guy called Kai that makes nice ROTJ blasters. They aren't spot on since he uses L3A4 grips, but they are high quality and probably the easiest to get without the hassle of getting a hyperfirm re-shipped from the states.
  17. Yes, that's totally fine. The UKG has a habit of making all their prospective members build their suits to EIB or above levels before they are even applied for basic membership. And I agree with that line of thinking. It's a lot easier to build your armour to the best of your ability the first time around, than it is to take it apart and start replacing things to reach the next level later on.
  18. Blasters optional stems from the fact that some countries have extremely protective gun laws, where even toy blasters would be illegal. We still want those living there to be able to become members. Since level 2 and 3 are optional, the requirements are higher, including a required blaster. Maybe that the wording could use some improvement, but so does the CRLs themselves. My pro-tip is to focus more time on looking at how the centurion-costumes here are build and following that, rather than the CRL since that gives you more visual input on how to do things that might be complicated to express in text.
  19. You can't apply for centurion or EIB without a blaster. Blasters optional is only for basic 501st membership. Or rather, you can apply, but you won't be approved.
  20. No. If you are applying for eib or centurion your blaster must also comply with the same crl and level as the armour. Sent from my GT-I9300
  21. Quite a few of the best posts on the forum are among those 4000. Good job Tom.
  22. There is an mgc on ebay right now... Sent from my GT-I9300
  23. Choosing between lining up with the ridges and having it lean inwards I would for not leaning and skip lining it up with the ridges but either way is fine in my book.
  24. That's something for Rob to improve on his moulds then.
