  1. No problem
  2. Does this help? -----------
  3. The question I always ask when I read about the fragility of resin when dropped etc.. Why would you ever drop it? I mean, it's your baby. Treat it with care.
  4. Hi I do agree on the buttons and ear stripes, etc, already mentioned. I am a bit curious though to your reasons for drilling holes in the ab plate and adding the buttons. You have an ATA kit and it already has vac formed buttons. Why not use those as it's intended? Also please paint the ear ranks. It's easy and improves the look a lot. It's okey if they are a little bigger. Take a look at the originals. With that said I'm approving you for EIB
  5. A single 9v usually lasts a good while. But be sure to use quality batteries and not the cheap ones. If that is what you have tried already, I'd suggest emailing romfx. The romfx is high quality stuff and should not act like that, and I'm sure you'll get the help you need if you ask them.
  6. That usually means the battery is too weak. Try with a new one. Sent from my GT-I9300
  7. Thanks guys
  8. If you're looking for a hero helmet then you won't get it from either AP or ATA. TM is the most accurate quality hero made.
  9. Check the for sale-section. There are at least two ongoing holster runs. Sent from my GT-I9300
  10. Sounds about right. Hero is not a very popular version.
  11. Snaps are much better. Avoid velcro at all costs.
  12. TK's don't need medics. We leave our brothers that fall where they are.
  13. Yeah, It's awesome. I just stumbled upon it sometime, don't remember when or how.
  14. Sandtrooper ab and snowtrooper chest. Yes. The Snowtrooper commander also has TK forearms. So some of the original TK/TD parts were reused as other costumes.
  15. Maybe you can commission someone in the UKG to build it for you?
  16. Doopydoo are UK based and make a good resin kit you can put together. You just need to add a scope rail and paint it after assembly.
  17. It's a pre-production photo of ESB. As we know, Dengar didn't have a DLT-19 in the actual movie, they changed it to a "Valken-38" made from an MG-42.
  18. It would look great! Sent from my GT-I9300
  19. It's actually called stunt and hero because the terms are common in the prop industry as terms for a "sloppy" version and a "nice" version. Hero versions are for close ups and stunt is for background usage. Or in case of guns for example, a stunt gun can be made from rubber and tossed around like it's nothing. A hero gun would be a real gun used for shooting blanks for example. It just happens to be that most people like the stunt look more so it's a more common version to replicate. The stunt helmets were made in a larger quantity and made from a cheaper plastic and painted white, whereas the hero helmets were made from nice white ABS plastic and did not need to be painted.
  20. The knee belt is in the wrong position. The belt is supposed to be riveted in the upper corner, not in the middle like yours. You should also raise the drop boxes so that there's no gap between boxes and belt. There's a special section on the knee belt in our gallery (link is up top next to expert infantry).
  21. If you use facebook, make sure to like the "star wars archives" page. I don't know who runs it, but they post a lot of great and rare photos.
  22. So was the real deal: --------------- Lighter weight and easier to comply with safety and weapon regulations.
  23. And I'm just not very fond of HWT's I think it adds to the the old thinking that a stormtrooper can wear a pauldron (which FISD has worked since forever to stop) and at the same time confuses people who finally have learned that sandtroopers are supposed to be dirty (which is one of the main reasons why MEPD got started).
