  1. Hello and good morning! I'm glad you like the doopy blaster. The only adjustment I can think of that is an easy fix before I approve you is to raise the belt a bit. If you compare yourself to the cardboard cutout you'll see you're wearing the belt too low. Obviously I'll want picture proof once you've done the cover strips, but since they aren't required yet I'd say that if you move the belt up you're good to go.
  2. Similar photos from the same exhibit can be found in the FISD gallery as well, sorted by costume. Thanks to guys like you who take the pictures and share them here. -------
  3. I don't think silk has been confirmed as a material. I think it's more based on looks. Lycra has also been approved before I think.
  4. Similar gloves have been approved before: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4980 The CRL isn't very specific on the gloves.
  5. Yeah different stitching technique... I may need to do some research on the glove matter. I think there was a thread about the ESB gloves some months ago. Maybe last year.
  6. Hard to tell from the pictures but if they are how I think they are I'd say they are acceptable.
  7. I am certainly for such a program. Although I don't think it would be the DO's job to approve such build. I'd rather see it a consensus of extremely knowledgeable members participating in the review of the application. Sort of a peer-review approach if you will.
  8. I'm working on an ESB Fett since last year. Might do an officer and another TK after that.
  9. Even if you don't wish to apply for EIB or above, use the build and application threads as inspiration. It'll save you some trouble and help you build your armour in a smart and practical way that won't break mid-troop.
  10. Cool. I think that once you're finished with the doopydoo blaster you'll find it most satisfying to both your heart and your eyes.
  11. No, it wouldn't matter. At least for basic approval. But you would soon find that a fiberglasd/bondo armour would be very unpleasant to troop in. Sent from my GT-I9300
  12. Nice catch Patrick. I'll suggest that you replace those Mat. It's not as bad as having philips screws, but it's an easy fix.
  13. The reason why we ask you not to ask is partially because we already have a good list on who is reliable to get armour from, and who to avoid, and also to not have to repeat the same answer 5 times a day.
